Across from the manicured grounds of the prestigious Ecole du Vale-de-Grâce, my apartment sits high above a busy commercial street intersection with a local greengrocer and Franprix just nearby, along with a selection of French brasseries, Italian restaurants and casual eateries. Nearby landmarks such as the Sorbonne, Luxembourg Gardens and The Pantheon are within a 10-minute walk from the apartment. Luxembourg station (RER B) and Censier-Daubenton (Line 7) are also a 10-minute walk.
My apartment is a Parisian-style family home that combines stately 19th-century design with contemporary conveniences to make your stay as comfortable and homely as possible. The apartment is 110m2 with large windows offering plenty of sunlight and stunning views of the surrounding area, including the domed roof of the prestigious Val-De-Grâce academy.
The living area is fitted with stylish modern furniture with a large-screen TV for entertainment and relaxing after a long day of exploring. The fireplace is purely decorative and lends an elegant character to the space.
The kitchen and dining area are also stylish and contemporary, with everything you'll need to prepare and enjoy meals. Do make yourself at home and use the complimentary coffee machine we provided.
The two bedrooms in the apartment are fitted with queen beds, while a third room is equipped with bunk beds suited mainly for children. The top bunk bed is for a child or teenager (60kg max). All beds have the same fresh linens to ensure a pleasant sleep.
The bathroom is of ample size and has a window for ventilation. It comes with a tub to soak, a walk-in shower, and two sinks with large vanity mirrors that are illuminated. Towels, toiletries and a hairdryer are also provided as well. There's a second bathroom next to the children's room.

Also known as the Latin Quarter, the 5th arrondissement is home to the Sorbonne University and student-filled cafes. It's also known for its bookshops, including the famed Shakespeare & Company. Family-friendly attractions include the Jardin des Plantes botanical gardens and the National Museum of Natural History. The stately Panthéon building holds the remains of notables like Voltaire and Marie Curie.
Within the stately Val-de-Grâce area, dominated by its namesake former military hospital, home of the 17th-century Val-de-Grâce Church with its frescoed cupola. University buildings dot the site, including the science-oriented Campus Pierre et Marie Curie, where the Musée Curie shows exhibits of radioactivity in Marie Curie's old laboratory. Cafes, restaurants, and bakeries are scattered among the neighbourhood's narrow streets.
The apartment is within walking distance of public transport, and services like UBER, LeCab and G7 are available to download and use in Paris.

- Luxembourg (RER B) is 9 minutes away by foot from the apartment.
- Gare Du Nord is 16 minutes away by RER (Line B) or 29 minutes by car during peak hours.
- Depending on traffic conditions, reaching Charles De Gaulle Airport take 1 hour by car during peak hours.
Please note that late check-in after 22:00 has a surcharge of €20. Check-in after 00:00 is subject to confirmation.
There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers any evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €300 smoking fee, at minimum.

Eine sehr schöne helle Wohnung mit toller Altbauatmosphäre und einem schönen Blick.
Die Lage ist top, die Bushaltestelle und einen kleiner Supermarkt direkt vor der Tür.
Nachts war es leise und die Betten waren soweit OK. Ein Toilette und zwei Bäder.
Leider haben wir beim Einchecken über eine Stunde auf den Schlüssel gewartet, aber der Bote hatte sich dafür mehrfach entschuldigt.
