About this cottage rental
Our waterfront cottage on Little Long lake has the most amazing location, view and sunsets on the lake. We are pet friendly with required leash outside. We have a peaceful location on a private drive and its own private beach. The cottage sits on a peninsula with only 3 other homes on the road. There is minimal traffic. There is also great fishing from our dock.
Our cottage is quant at about 900 sq ft. with 3 small bedrooms. One has a queen bed, one has a bunk with a double and single, and the third room has a double as well. There is one 1 small bathroom that has a walk-in shower. There are two window a/c units and one portable unit as a reserve. There is a stand-alone natural gas wall furnace and two HeatStorm wall units in the front two bedrooms. The fireplace is not available for use. There is also a propane grill. The water is well water that tends to be hard water. Truly a cottage. But, again, planted in the most beautiful spot that will not disappoint.
The home is fully equipped and furnished with cookware, towels, blankets, bedding, toys, floaties and wi-fi. There are two TV’s with Wi-Fi access for your own streaming on your own account. There is a dock to fish from and a lakeside fire pit. You will need to bring your own wood. There are kayaks to use AT YOUR OWN RISK. We assume no responsibility for any injuries, losses, or damages that may be incurred as a result of the use. We have a dog and he is there with us when we are there. If you are highly allergic to dogs our house might not be right for you. There is dish soap, toilet paper, 2 rolls of paper towel and shampoo and conditioner provided.
Within 2 miles is the Long Lake Bar and Grill for dining and entertainment, Tides and Timbers Restaurant and Corky's party store. Hale is 4 miles away furnishing most of what small northern towns offer. About 8 miles away is Wicker Hills Golf Coarse and then about 1/2 hr is Tawas and Lake Huron.

The cottage on Little Long Lake was just perfect! The view from the deck of the lake and sunset was fabulous. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing and relaxing. The accommodations and amenities were great. We had everything we needed to cook and enjoy our meals on the deck. The hosts Mark and Shanda were very friendly and easily available for any questions.

From start to finish, our stay at this cozy Little Long Lake cottage was amazing! The communication with the host was exemplary; she was incredibly responsive and attentive to every detail and even let us know about a band that was going to play across the lake.
The property itself was very clean and there were thoughtful extras - fully stocked kitchen, welcome goodies, use of games and outdoor toys for kids, and beach towels. It was clear that the hosts went above and beyond to ensure our comfort.
The location was ideal, offering both tranquility and easy access to restaurants. It is located near several lakes and we were able to get to sister’s cottage Au Sable Lake in 10 minutes. We felt right at home and appreciated the personal touches. We can't recommend this property highly enough and will definitely be returning for future stays. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

This cottage has everything you need for a delightful stay at little Long Lake. It has many wonderful things to play in the water. The owners are outstanding and the cottage is immaculate with plenty of outside seating as well. We highly recommend this place to stay.
