About this villa rental
Recently renovated, Thimbleberry Castle House provides a unique space for family and group gatherings. Situated within an easy walk to great trails , this secluded location offers walks along the Lake Michigan beach and on wooded paths. The lakefront is definitely beautiful and no doubt better for viewing than swimming on the rocky beach. There are two sandy beaches within two miles of our property - in Baileys Harbor and in Jacksonport -and there are others spread throughout the county. Pets ok.

This house was even better than expected! It was perfect for our multi family trip, a nice location for doing things around town, super clean and well stocked with essentials, and just beautiful! Our kids also loved it because it looked like a castle!

We had a wonderful stay at the Thimbleberry Castle house, more than plenty of room for our crew of 17. Our grandchildren loved it too! Beautiful house!! Very private and peaceful, but close to all the Door County surrounding attractions

We loved this house! Beautiful home and lots of space for our family. Very quiet location. We enjoyed the fire pit, listening to the Lake Michigan waves, hanging out in the huge kitchen and great room, and the kids loved the sauna and secret room! Lots of towels, very comfortable beds, and plenty of cookware, dinnerware, and flatware. We would definitely stay again!

This setting was perfect for multiple family units coming together. Everyone had their own bedrooms for privacy, yet there were multiple spacious gathering areas for puzzles, game playing, reunion activities, and definitely eating (inside and outside). It is in a remote setting and very quiet, yet near to activities throughout Door County. I would highly recommend it!
