Big, older home in lovely Jamestown. Creaky, but charming. Very well appointed with kitchen supplies, bedding, games, books. Backyard is a large oasis and screened in so great for smaller children and your pup. We were just adults with adult children dropping in, but think this would be superb spot for a larger family with youngsters. Owner was very responsive to any questions, issues we encountered. The house was a great size and in good condition. The lack of central A/C meant there were a lot of window units which was nice but the MBR unit made a lot of noise which interfered with sleep. Some of the screens had holes so opening those windows or sliders was tricky with mosquitoes. The kitchen was well-equipped and the common areas were very good. The yard and back deck/patio were fantastic. I think the house had well water so the water pressure was a challenge at times. Overall a good house for a large group.
