A great location and brilliant space for a group of friends. Such a cool apartment

A large open plan space which was perfect for our group who were celebrating a friend’s 60th birthday. The accommodation was clean, spacious and modern but with some quirky features. The main lounge area could possibly benefit from some additional seating for chilling and watching TV. The location was perfect and was in the heart of the shopping and night life areas.There’s no carpet as would be expected for a property like this, so was a tad echoey if we were talking loudly. Martin, the host, did explain that noise levels had to be lowered after 11pm due to the neighbours, so we returned from our night out and finished our evening in the very large basement bedroom which had a Smart TV and plenty of space for us all. Martin responded promptly to any messages before check in, and was there to greet us when we arrived. He also showed us around the property which was helpful.A couple of bedside lamps in the upper bedroom would be worth considering. The upstairs bathroom was fabulous with a free standing bath and shower, and the en-suites downstairs were also finished to a high standard. There’s parking just a 1 minute walk away, but you have to keep topping up payment via an app. There was also a multi-storey nearby which we were told was free during the evening. Not a suitable place if you want a raucous party due to the noise restrictions, but great if you’re a large group going out on the town but want to return to a warm, spacious and comfortable environment.
