Brisbane Riverside Retreat

The view from all windows in the apartment were good. The property offered good space and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Contact with the owners was always quick and easy. Close to Brisbane CBD.

The bed was only okay but for those who like soft bed it would be fine. We had some issues with cleaning when we arrived and the owners offered to have the cleaner return.

The unit was great, big enough for the 2 of us with out being on top of each, liked the kitchenette feature (not that we used it). View is great, but I will say it's a shame that the windows weren't that much lower so you could see from the couch or bed. i did a lot of standing and watching Great location from Suncorp Stadium and into Queen street. Bed in the bedroom great (so I was told.) Communication with the host great for check in, how to get in etc

Honestly the mattress on the sofa bed, in the current state, it shouldn't be advertised "has 2 beds" and with the cost of the room per night the mattress should be a bit better than what it is. I understand that I'm not in my own bed and also that mattress's in a sofa bed do suffer and deteriorate fast over time due to being folded up and when people are sitting on the sofa, but that mattress is in need of a replacement ASAP - the thinness of it you could feel the springs and the bar from the frame and the stains on it really off putting Did ask about bedding for the sofa bed if it would be supplied or if it was to be requested at an extra charge, it was confirmed that it would be provide but a sheet and knee rug didn't quite meet my expectations. Pulled it out, made it up, laid down and got up, packed the bed away and slept on the sofa for duration of stay (2 nights) I'm 6ft so anyone taller than that call dibbs on the bed straight away

The view.

It was dirty. Mould in the bathroom vanity and shower. Carpet was stained in several places. Every wall had dirt and or marks on them.
