We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Miyajima Hotel New Kotobuki, and I can confidently say it was an enchanting experience that my wife and I will cherish forever. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by a sweet and kind couple, who I believe were the owners. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home in this charming Japanese inn.
The location is absolutely perfect—just a quick 5-minute walk from the breathtaking Itsukushima Shrine. After exploring the shrine, we loved coming back to our room, which featured beautiful tatami mats and a cozy traditional dining table that enhanced our experience of authentic Japanese culture. The traditional sleeping arrangement with Shikifuton and kakebuton was surprisingly comfortable and added to the overall charm of our stay.
One of the highlights was the shared living area, where complimentary coffee, tea, and snacks were available. It was a lovely touch that allowed us to unwind and relax after our daily adventures. We also enjoyed the presence of the friendly cats that roamed around the living room, adding a delightful touch to the cozy atmosphere.
Overall, our stay at the Miyajima Hotel New Kotobuki made our trip to Miyajima incredibly relaxing and memorable. We highly recommend this lovely inn to anyone looking to experience the true essence of Japanese hospitality.
