Location is great! A short walk to the Redfern train station and the Main Street of Redfern. Loved being on the ground level with big cases it was very easy to get in and out of the room. Room was a good size for two of us.
There was a very musty smell in the room that was quite overpowering and unpleasant. Hits you in the face every time you walked in the door. We had both fans going all the time but that made very little difference. Wasn’t really able to get any fresh air into the room as the windows opened directly on to the street with no blinds/guards on them which didn’t feel safe. Also couldn’t get the ac to work either to push a bit more air around. There was a dehumidifier but very noisy.

Proximity to Redfern station. Easy access to cafe, bars, convenience stores.
Toilet system was noisy and wouldn’t stop filtering.

Good size, not claustrophobic.
Needs a smart tv so you can use your own streaming services, need instructions for microwave/oven, lot of water noise in building, need to upgrade front security panel so you can read what is there instead of guessing
