The house is located uphill, and the parking area is on a very steep slope. It has a unique and cozy atmosphere, with lots of pink decorations, mirrors, and paintings throughout the house. The kitchen was very well equipped, and we didn’t miss anything during our stay. We enjoyed walking to the beach, which was about a 10-minute walk away. From the bedroom window, it was possible to see part of the ocean. The host was very attentive and kind. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it.
We noticed a few spiders and a centipede inside the house during our stay, but since the house is surrounded by nature, it’s understandable that a few bugs may get inside occasionally.

Amazing interior, decor was exceptional (everything was pink and glamorous). There was attention in every detail. We slept very well, the owners were extremely kind & showed us around when we arrived. Great value for the cost of one night.
We caught the bus to the beach and then it was around a 10-12 minute walk, slightly uphill for part of it.
10/10 stay, we’d absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Shimoda who enjoys staying somewhere a little bit different and quirky.
