Kingfisher Cottage - Woodbridge

Location was good for walking to the river or in to town. The beds were comfortable, everywhere very clean and we appreciated the upstairs toilet in addition to the downstairs bathroom. The WiFi worked well and the tv was easy enough to negotiate! There was plentiful and useful information left by the hosts for nearby restaurants and info prior to arrival was timely.

The downside of such a prime town situation was the difficulty in parking, which was impossible for us to do outside the property at any time during our stay. However, it was a short walk to a reasonably priced car park which we used for the entire weekend and I suggest more emphasis be put on this in the advance information so visitors are prepared. Being near the end of terrace next to a main road, we could hear loud traffic as soon as the upstairs windows were open - only a problem if anyone is used to otherwise living in a quiet area.

The cottage is located close to the quayside and within easy reach of the town centre. Parking in the narrow street is tight but very handy. The cottage has a lovely airy feel and there is a bathroom downstairs and also a loo upstairs. I appreciated the table space and good lighting. The paved garden has a nice table and 6 chairs for al fresco dining. The hosts left very helpful guidance on Woodbridge amenities.

A freezer compartment to the fridge would have been useful. The third bedroom is a single sofa bed in an alcove with a curtain not a door.

Home was very clean and well furnished and would definitely stay again!

Mould around the bath rim. Taps need a thorough clean -Viakal -lime scale disinfectant would help.
