Contemporary, light beamy living room with comfy sitting area and dining table.

Fully fitted bright kitchen with breakfast bar, and washing machine leading through to a large pretty enclosed courtyard garden with outside table and chairs.

Extremely nice bathroom with bath and shower.

Upstairs

Bedroom 1: Lovely large master bedroom with a kingsize bed and wardrobes.

Bedroom 2: Small twin room.

Bedroom 3: Small cabin room with low fold out bed, or room for a cot.

Accommodation was lovely except 3rd bedroom was more a cupboard with a curtain, no door, and a camp bed with metal cross bars that you could feel. Situation was perfect, close to river and town centre. Garden was not secure for my dogs as there was access via gates both sides to neighbours and both gates were left open one night. Parking was on the very narrow road, all full when I arrived and double yellow lines everywhere meant I was ready to go home as I couldn’t park away from the property and carry everything to the cottage, luckily a place became available on my last drive round.

All terrific except that one of us doesn’t sleep well in the double bed - though the mattress is very comfortable the bed frame does jiggle about every time one person moves, affecting the other. I’m sure sounder sleepers wouldn’t complain - personal problem! Otherwise we love the cottage and its location and this time enjoyed having friends to dinner too. Thank you Abi and Ed

Really enjoyed our stay, cottage has everything you need, plus a nice outside area where you can eat. We had great contact with Abi and were able to stay longer. 2 mins walk from Woodbridge which has everything. We enjoyed walking to the harbour area with an interesting Museum and The Longshed. Perfect cottage and met our needs for the weekend as we stayed for a wedding. Would recommend to anyone who wanted to stay in the area. Abi and Ed as hosts were kind enough to treat us to a bottle cava to celebrate our occasion….beyond expectations.

Kingfisher Cottage was in an ideal location for exploring Woodbridge and walking to Sutton Hoo and back by the river. Lots of independent shops to browse nearby and the Blue Salt restaurant was perfect for dinner on our first evening. The cottage had everything we needed for a couple of nights away. Comfy beds, good size living/dining room, well equipped kitchen and a lovely sunspot in the garden to sit and chat with a glass of wine. Perfect for us 😊

We felt at home the moment we walked through the door, the house was spotlessly clean with a contemporary but cosy feel. The beds were very comfortable and the extra touches of milk and Prosecco were much appreciated! It’s in a great location being only about 5-10 min walk to the town centre. Fabulous find!

As other reviewers have said. This is a lovely cottage. Well situated in Woodbridge. Close to the shops and for walking along the river. Personally for us I would like to thank Abi, for her kindness and understanding, this allowed for my Mum and I to have a lovely few days together. We would both recommend it and hope to return again next year.

This was the perfect location to allow us to walk around Woodbridge- clisexto all the amenities and yet still has a country cottage feel. We parked in the nearby public car park - which is very reasonable- as large cars may find the lane outside the house rather narrow. Very comfortable

This property is conveniently located close to both the harbour and the shopping center of Woodbridge. It has been well and sympathetically refurbished. It is comfortable and has all the facilities needed, as described in the listing. Ideal for two people, maybe a bit cosy for four adults, but 2+2 children would be fine.

We had a lovely stay. Everything as expected. Abi is a great host and was very helpful. Cottage is perfectly located for Woodbridge centre and lovely walks along the river. Will hopefully be back in warmer months so that we can sit in the garden with our glass of wine!

Lovely cottage in a fantastic location, a few minutes walk to Woodbridge centre. We were in the area for a wedding nearby so didn't use all the facilities in the cottage but the kitchen seemed well equipped, plenty of space, upstairs and downstairs toilets. Milk and Cava provided in the fridge on arrival was a nice touch along with tea and coffee also provided. Thanks for a lovely stay!
