    9.6 / 10Outstanding·Oct 2026
Things got off to a bad start with the staff demanding an extra 500 pesos to turn on the electricity for the stove (not mentioned in the booking conditions). After complaining , they relented. In 30 years of Asian travel, I have never stayed in a property with such a huge cockroach infestation. In the bathroom, the kitchenette, in the bed, everywhere. I alerted the staff, they just shrugged and said that the nearby canal is a prodigious source of cockroaches. No attempt to get bug spray to kill them. I felt like the protagonist in "Joe's Apartment", when the multitudinous cockroaches serenade him with the song "Funky Towel". Check it out.... ####

If you’re looking for a budget room that is accessible to the airport, and neighboring malls, then this is the place.
