The accommodation matched the description and the pictures in the listing. It is a neat and clean accommodation with a somewhat older standard, which in return offers charm and plenty of space. With its furnishings, which admittedly still feel a bit socialist, it completely fulfilled expectations for the very low price. It should be highlighted as a positive that the check-in went well despite the short-notice booking. Particularly noteworthy qualities are that free parking spaces are available in a secured area and a kitchen is provided. To our surprise, breakfast was even offered. While this was not overly opulent, it was absolutely appropriate for the super cheap price. In addition, the staff, starting with the cleaning lady up to the employee or manager of the house with whom the invoice issue and payment could be resolved the next morning, was very friendly and welcoming.

Regrettably, handling the invoice, which had been explicitly requested in advance, proved difficult during check-in. The night watchman on duty either would not or could not understand that a proper invoice was required first before payment, and only gave up after lengthy discussions. Fortunately, the next morning a far more competent staff member – presumably the manager of the property – was present, with whom the matter was resolved in a short time and the invoice was handed over without any issues. Here, it would be advisable to instruct the staff accordingly or to transmit receipts digitally beforehand in order to avoid such misunderstandings. A small practical point concerns the equipment in the kitchen. Since neither a stove nor an oven is available, preparing hot meals on site is hardly possible. The location is situated slightly outside of Shkodra. Since this is clearly evident from the description beforehand, it does not constitute a defect, but should be taken into account when planning your trip. The entire property exudes the charm of times gone by, but they visibly make the best of it.

Está lejos de la ciudad cerca de un barrio lamentable. Parece ser un antiguo recinto religioso. Las cortinas son traslucidas asique todo el mundo de fuera te puede ver por la noche. La neverita suena muchísimo, nuestra puerta era de cristal y la interior también y sin cerradura, asique se podía ver el interior.
