The West Front, Cathedral View

We really enjoyed our little pod, the view of the cathedral was just beautiful and it was so peaceful. You can take the little pathway into Wells which is only a 5-10 minute walk which was so handy! I was very grateful that there was a fan as it did get pretty hot so we had no problems sleeping. Loved the set up in the pod and had a good TV with everything you need.

A couple of things let it down. One was the cleanliness. It felt like someone had just quickly gone over it and no deep clean. There was a lot of smears on the oven and the worktop had some crumbs around the hob. Some of the cutlery was dirty and the cabinet doors needed a clean. They did supply a sponge and some washing up liquid but you still expect it to be spotless when paying that much money. The decorative cushions on the bed were a bit dirty as well so sadly that did let it down. The other thing was the shower. You would run it and all of a sudden it would just go cold. Sometimes it would come back on and sometimes it didn’t. It was a very good size shower though! Also it would be nice to see some hedges around each pod to give more privacy from the other pods
