Paddington House

We had such a lovely stay at Paddington House. It’s a beautiful terrace home in a wonderfully quiet neighbourhood, surrounded by gorgeous old terrace houses that give the area so much character. The house itself has a lovely traditional façade but is modern, comfortable and very well equipped inside — it really had everything we needed for a short stay. It was also very reasonably priced for the location. We loved being able to walk to Five Ways Paddington, Oxford Street and so many great cafés and restaurants. We had an amazing Italian meal at Five Ways and found the whole area just so easy and enjoyable. Everything about our stay was wonderful and I would definitely stay at Paddington House again. Highly recommend!

Our only little hiccup was that we couldn’t quite work out how to get the Sonos music system going. After a bit of trial and error we gave up — but three women who have known each other for over 40 years certainly had enough to talk about anyway! 😂

This is the most beautiful private house/apartment I've ever stayed in. Everything in the house is high quality, stylishly designed, with a lovely small garden. The area is quiet, charming, within an easy walk of lovely cafes, restaurants and shops in Paddington and Darlinghurst, and an easy bus ride to the CBD. The house is spotlessly clean, and the host Fred responded to questions immediately. For our family of four it was perfect, but it is worth pointing out that two of the three bedrooms have no doors, it's part of the design. Prospective guests might need to know this. It didn't matter to us.

Perfect gem in the middle of charming Paddington. The host, Fred, was extremely helpful and reachable. We asked for extra hangers and immediately he ordered some online and the were delivered to us.
