VIVID - Lake Macquarie Cosy House, heated pool, ev station, fireplace 1 hour from Sydney

Affordable, and very comfortable, great location for a quick escape from Sydney on the lake. We stayed in winter and LOVED having a cosy wood fire which made the entire house toasty. The downstairs is all hard surfaces tiled floor brick walls etc so initially it was COLD but the wood fire warmed the entire home. What it made me think was “this place is going to be very cool during hot summer” and very practical with the tiled floor and kids. The pool was absolutely lovely and it was super clean. The neighborhood very quiet and peaceful. So close to walk to anything you may need to top up bakery etc. The beds/mattresses are lovely…. abundance of blankets if needed. Seperate lounging areas if you have family staying together so kids can watch and play away from parents if they want. Outside has a large covered BBQ area with open fire close to watch the kids in the pool. We don’t drive and electric vehicle but they have even thought of that with changing facility available. The owners are extremely responsive to any messages. It was my birthday when we stayed and our lovely hosts were so kind and left flowers a card chocolates and wine!! I loved it so much and we intend now to come back again. If you are a quite family looking for a peaceful affordable getaway it’s perfect 😍

The property was beautiful the pool was amazing kids loved it, nice area very peaceful the hosts were wonderful and very responsive 10/10 We will be staying again!!

I loved everything! From the pool and the outdoor living area, to simple thoughtful touches such as knitted blankets on the couch and design books. The lights around the pool are lovely. The mattress was so comfortable that I am buying the same one for my home. I slept really well. The house is clean and functional. The hosts were lovely and so are the neighbours. Absolutely would stay here again. It was nice to use the indoor fire place. A very comfortable, family friendly place to stay. Grateful to find a pet friendly place for my family too.

The stairs are very steep and narrow and there are no pics of them on the ad. Aside from that everything was wonderful
