Lake Lauderdale Campground

Beautiful location, lovely small cabin. Slept amazing, woke up with the sounds of birds. Very clean facilities. The hosts Marianne, Mike and their dog Bella made the stay extra special. Would definitely come back!

The cozy cabin we stayed in slept 6 people, but our 4 fit comfortably with 2 two beds in the loft, a twin bunk bed, and full size bed. There was a mini-fridge, tv, air conditioner, portable heater & microwave in the room as well as a fire-pit outside. It was nice to bring the dog for no extra fee 😊 The view was pretty and the lake was a 15 minute hike down to a spot with beach, swimming area and picnic tables. There was a cornhole tournament on Saturday, and plenty of things for the younger kids to do outside with small playground area, and a rec room with foosball and pool table inside.

The listing said there was a private bathroom, but really it is a shared bathhouse with no bathroom or running water in the cabin. There was a water spigot outside the cabin. The bathhouse was clean but in need of maintenance including broken windows and clogged shower drain. Luckily I checked the website for more information and saw that we needed to bring our own bedding.

Le prix est bien trop excessif pour les services : pas d’équipements (juste un micro-onde mais rien d’autre). Toilettes et douches très vielles. Nous avons l’habitude du voyage et de faire du camping, nous cherchions un peu plus de confort en mettant le prix, vous ne le trouverez pas ici nous avons été déçus. 😊 Attention: draps payants sur place, heureusement nous avons payé le même prix que booking en espèces tout compris.
