Living4malaga Urban Apartments

This relates to Living4Malaga at Calle Hoyo De Esparteros. We picked an apartment close to the market with a full kitchen, separate bedroom and lounge, and small balcony. The bonus was that we were also close to a major train station (Alameda) - useful to get to an from the airport, if you don't have much luggage. The coach meeting point for day tours outside Malaga was also nearby (we did day trips to Cordoba and Seville), as is El Corte Ingles department store. It's a a very short walk to major shopping streets, good bars and restaurants. The apartment is located in a relatively quiet pedestrianised area, and the nearby hotel (H10 Croma) has a lovely rooftop bar with great views over the city. The kitchen was well equipped including a microwave and fridge/freezer. There was also lots of storage space - both wardrobe and bathroom cupboard space.

The reviews rate this higher than it deserves. It’s very basic & bare. Your typical kitchen, 5 plates, 5 cups, 5 knives and forks. No salt, pepper, the little things that make a difference. It’s a pretty soulless apartment and I would not stay there again. Better value out there.
