Experience a getaway like no other at this unique and beautifully designed dog-friendly home! This splendid, 21-acre escapade sits on the highest peak so you can easily admire the views from an extensive 1,500-square-foot wrap-around deck and wall-to-wall windows in the living room. The large property is filled with mature trees and paths throughout. Polander Creek runs through this eclectic ranch and you will be approximately 10 miles away from downtown Fredericksburg and all of its attractions. Some of which include Enchanted Rock State Natural Area, Pioneer Museum, Marktplatz Von Fredericksburg, Rockbox Theater, National Museum Of The Pacific War, Admiral Nimitz Gallery, and Lady Bird Johnson Golf Course.

Upon entering this unique home away from home, you will discover endless handcrafted details, hand-scraped reclaimed wood-framed windows and doors, hand-crafted pillars, and cantera pillars. Wall-to-wall windows flood the entire open floor plan with natural light. The beautifully appointed living area invites you to spread out comfortably and enjoy a fun conversation with your guests while planning your next adventures or streaming a fun movie or show on the smart TV with cable and streaming. The home's kitchen has been appointed with all the essentials, including modern stainless steel appliances, and gorgeous red cabinets. The extensive wrap-around deck is a wonderful spot to dine alfresco and host warm-weather barbecues using the provided grill.

The primary suite on the main level enjoys an enormous library and two comfortable chairs where you can spend hours and hours getting lost in interesting books, access to a covered patio, and a unique en suite bathroom with a unique slate-tiled shower with a built-in bench. The second floor hosts two additional bedrooms, sharing a full bathroom.

No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
Due to the Hill Country location of our rentals, you may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night and supervise your children at all times while outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control maintenance on a regular basis, BUT this does not guarantee pests/bugs/critters will not be visible.


If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
