The cottage is very well equipped and so cute inside. It is very well situated a few metres from Bay Front and an amazing view towards the Harborside Inn and very near the small ferry.

The house is very nice, clean, well equipped, comfortable beds, everything went very smoothly. There is only street parking but we never had any trouble finding a spot right outside. The island is very quiet and peaceful, we loved sitting out in the front.I recommend Todos Santos just a couple of minutes walk away for your morning coffee!

Had a wonderful weekend on balboa. Kathy is a wonderful host, great communication. The house is clean and comfortable. The little extras were perfect, beach towels, nice throws and games. Location is quiet and near the Ferry. We enjoyed walking the island for exercise. Shopping and restaurants a short walk away. Close to many wonderful beaches and trails. Great getaway!

This rental is in a great location and easily walkable to the main street as well as the ferry. We parked and didn’t pick up our car again until we left. It did make me nervous that we did not have designated parking however as the property manager indicated there was really no issue finding parking in front of the house on Any given day. Would definitely recommend to others. The upstairs bedroom does not have an actual door so it’s more of a loft from a sound perspective, Just something to be aware of nothing that would deter me from staying here again. All in all a great value for a great location!

It was by far the roomiest option we've ever rented as the bedrooms and bathrooms were quite large. Front porch area was great and communication with host was easy.

We booked Kathy and Kim’s place last minute on our travels and we are so glad we did! We totally loved Balboa Island! The house was really cosy and comfortable and perfectly positioned! The area is stunning and it was a very short walk to the ferry. We whale watched with Davey’s Locker which was fantastic! We strolled morning and evening around the island perimeter which was stunning! Highly recommend this house and Kathy and Kim were super responsive and helpful!

We traveled to California for Thanksgiving to visit our children and grandchildren, Kathy's house was perfect. Immaculate. Spotless. With a well equipped kitchen and everything we needed. Our 3 grandsons aged 12, 10 and 9 stayed upstairs in the large bedroom and my spouse and I were downstairs. The 2 beautiful bathrooms meant that we were never on top of each other. There was tons of space for every one and a bright sunny outside verandah for morning coffee, reading or lounging and watching the world walk by.
