The GoodThe unit was very clean, the beds were comfortable. Each room had its own television. There was a great snack basket which was a wonderful thing to have with two kids. Check in and out was very easy and communicating with the host was also very easy. Plenty of parking was available when we were there. With the security installed we didn’t feel unsafe. It’s convenient if you need quick access to Coronado Island.The Unfavorable It’s situated close to the rail lines. The noise from the crossing lights during the day was not great. The train whistles at night were also disruptive. Generally there were only two trains at night, so it wasn’t all night. The traffic noise at night was also an issue for the kids as it sometimes woke them up. Additionally, the unit is located in what I would consider to be an industrial type area.

This was my first time planning a trip without my parents to help tell me what to do and the hosts were super flexible with the fact that the amount of guests kept changing and were able to help accommodate me because i would be arriving a day late since my car broke down. The only thing is that this location is next to a train the runs all day and that we were not aware that this was a shared space between multiple guests. However since we are teenagers this was not a problem for us since we were mostly just there to sleep and eat. The hosts were also super accommodating to the fact that our vlender was missing a part and were able to get us a new one within 20 minutes of me informing them. I am happy to have had such a great first experience traveling because of this place!!

The 2 bedroom apartment was perfect for our family of four. Not much of a neighborhood but the location was close to downtown and the Gaslamp district. Overall a great stay!

The unit was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The small touches, like stocked K-cups and snacks, were a wonderful addition.
