Cozy cabin on the hill with amazing surroundings.

Place was clean and beautiful views. Close to all the main attractions and Ruth was great to deal with!

Very lovely, cozy spot. The view from the front porch into the valley is amazing. It was a cold weekend and the log cabin with fireplace made for the perfect ambiance. Very clean and attention to detail is perfect. We were a group of 13 plus an infant. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because we needed to use the unfinished basement area. The utilities are not closed off. So the adults that slept in that area were woken up by the utility noises. If it wasn’t for that it would be 5 star!Ruth the host is very accommodating. We would come again. With a smaller group.

My wife and I took our children and their families out to Amish Country for a family gathering and Christmas shopping. The kids had never been there before. Well, the area sells itself, and the Mockingbird Lodge was the cherry on top of the sundae. I kept hearing all week on how they were all coming back and as far as a VRBO property, this was their favorite.What made it their favorite was the cleanliness, location and amenities of the the lodge. Also, I believe the fact their were no televisions in the lodge added an unexpected benefit. The family got to experience and entertain each other vs having actors in movies doing it for us.We give the Mockingbird Lodge 6 out of 5 stars and cannot wait to visit again.

We loved spending our family Thanksgiving in the cabin! Ruth was a wonderful host, checked in regularly and responded quickly to any questions/concerns. Tons of extra towels, blankets, and a great layout for a large family gathering. Will definitely book again!

We were siblings with our spouses that wanted to get away for a few day. We enjoyed exploring the Amish towns and gathering back at the cabin for games The place was as described however thought two bedrooms were on the main floor and not in the basement /lower level. The kitchen was well equipped. Would definitely return

This house was perfect for our weekend getaway. It was spotless and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the deck with coffee and wine.

The Mockingbird House was great and Manager Ruth was awesome, great please to stay and get away.

Beautiful home, well furnished, comfortable with great view. Great sleeping beds. Enjoyed Fuze ball and ping pong table in garage. Kitchen well stocked. Great place for family reunion and close to Ohio Star Theater.

We were not at the home a lot during our 2 night stay but did enjoy the kitchen (well equipped) and the front porch in the evening. We had all we needed for our stay and found everything to be clean and in abundance, No unwanted surprises. The only thing I found to be a bit unusual was that there were no televisions or alarm clocks in the home.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin very much. It was cozy and quiet and we were had plenty of space for the 5 adults and 7 children that we had along on our girl's trip. We had comfortable beds and hot showers and baths. The coffee nook in the kitchen was an added feature that we loved. There were appliances that made cooking convenient. There was plenty of space for us to spread out around the 2 tables to eat. The view of the countryside was awesome. We saw birds and farm animals and bunny rabbits. The kids especially loved seeing the animals out the window. The only drawback was the number of flies that tend to get in the house when you open the doors. After all, the property is in farm country. I think an added feature would be to put up a couple of fly traps in the 2 front rooms so that the guests would not have to chase so many of those pesky things with the fly swatter. We were thankful to find a couple of liffly swatters on the refrigerator. Our host was a great communicator and made sure that we had everything we needed at every step. She communicated with us at least once a day while we were there. This is a property that we would definitely return to when we are an Amish country, Ohio again.

My husband and I booked this property for a short getaway with several friends. It was the perfect spot! The host was very friendly, made checkin a breeze and checked in after the first evening to make sure we had everything we needed. The house was very clean, spacious, we loved how it was secluded up on a hill. It was well stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay here again or recommend this property to others.

This cabin was perfect for our mini family reunion. The location and home were beautiful. It had everything we needed with plenty of space for everyone. Very peaceful and relaxing! Ruth was an awesome host! She is super responsive and pleasant. We had a wonderful time! Hope to return soon!

What a gorgeous place! It exceeded our expectations. The house was beautiful and clean. Everything you needed in the kitchen, plenty of towels and blankets too. The view from the porch was amazing with horses all around. Great little shops in town. The host was easy to contact, quick to respond, and so friendly. We had a great relaxing time. 10/10 would recommend.

Absolutely love the location. Perfect spot for a short or long getaway. Not far from great food and activities. Very clean and fun place to stay. Ping pong table and lots of space to chill.

We loved Mockingbird Hill Cabin! The location is beautiful and the views are amazing! The cabin is spacious, clean and comfortable! Loved that is has 3 full bathrooms!! It is located near all the attractions in Millersburg, Berlin, Walnut Creek, Charm and Sugarcreek! I stay in amish country several times a year and Mockingbird Hill is a new favorite! Can’t wait to come back!!

We enjoyed our Friendsgiving 2023 in Amish country! Such a great home, so beautiful and cozy for the holiday. The location is so peaceful. Ruth is such a great host and very responsive. Everything you need is in the home for a relaxing, unplugged vacation.

We enjoyed the well furnished cabin. The place was beautiful and spacious. There were little touches that made us feel like we were cared about--soap, lots of towels, lots of blankets, Keurig cups, a variety of games, and comfortable furniture. It was a great surprise to look out the kitchen window to see several HUGE horses and then look out the dining room window to see a bull taking a rest. Thank you!
