Our family really enjoyed the family gathering area. The table and living room being open helped to make our gathering together easy and fun. The pool and hot tub was used every day and we enjoy them.

Great property for a large family gathering. We were attending my daughter's graduation and this was a good sport for us all to stay given the limited hotel options. The house was very clean and as advertised. Mornings on the porch with coffee were a highlight.

We brought our kids and six grandkids (ages 3-13). They loved the pool! It was a perfect size for our family and deep enough to play games. The grandkids love when they can all sleep together, so the bunk beds on the bottom level worked great for them. The weather warmed up enough that we could all get outside and play in the fresh air. Everyone wanted to stay longer!

We had a great couple of nights here! The cabin was decorated for Christmas, is really cozy and sleeps plenty! Also each of the three levels has its own bathroom/shower. The kids had a blast in the pool, but note there is no shallow end. The kitchen is decently equipped but you willl want to bring your own bottled water, oil, spices, pan scrubber, etc. Also wifi was just installed before our visit. Host is friendly and met us onsite when we arrived. Look up Weyrich Woods Lodge for accurate directions. This cabin was a lovely getaway!

The cabin is even better in person! So much character and detail throughout the whole cabin. The indoor pool was the best part!! We had so much fun celebrating our bride to be by over eating and drinking, games, gifts, swimming, and having a fire! We will be back and hopefully next time we walk the property to see the beautiful scenery and/or stop in town for some food/drinks!

We had an amazing time at the cabin. The heated indoor pool was awesome! It was a great space just to hang out and unwind. Plenty of space for the 14 people we had. Enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and sitting around fire. Just what we were looking for and would definitely recommend for large group get together.

Beautiful private property with an extremely cool luxury cabin that sleeps up to 16. We were a group of long-time friends who stayed for a 3-day getaway , and we are already planning for a return reunion next year. The cottage was impeccably clean, decorated beautifully in a rustic motif, right down to authentic wooden beams and saddles for barstools. A fabulous heated indoor pool and an outside hot tub. This place truly has to be seen to be believed- a hidden gem. Check-in and check- out were a breeze. The property manager gave detailed directions to find the place, met us there to check us in and show us around, and was very responsive. Check- out was non- contact - no need to wait on anyone to sign out. Such a cozy, beautiful, homey vibe. Don’t hesitate for one moment to book. We will be back!!!

Great weekend getaway. Clean and relaxing. 2 things I think would make it better- door locks, they didn’t work properly. And couldn’t find where to turn heat down. Overall, we loved it and would love to come back.

This is the perfect spot for a family vacation. From the comfy beds to the swimming pool, the cabin was amazing. We truly apperciated our time here. Merri Anne is easy to work with and answered all our questions and concerns. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We absolutely loved this lodge! All the comforts of home while being “off the grid”. We had such a great time using the pool, hot tub and fire pit. Nice, large space for everyone to spread out, relax and just enjoy each other’s company for the weekend. Would definitely come back for another weekend.

We stayed here last year and had to come back, because it had everything on my check list for the kiddos to do. Indoor pool, pond with a sandy beach. Tables in and out for the whole family to sit together. Plus a hot tub and horse rides if you desire. Great time had by all!

Merri Anne was really easy to talk to, especially when we needed to change our dates. The lodge itself is beautiful and well kept. We only had one issue with the microwave door being loose, but it still worked. My son's friends especially enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. I wish they provided wifi because we didn't have any cell service. We could receive texts if we we were near a window but we couldn't get phone calls or have internet access. That was inconvenient. It was a peaceful setting and great for gatherings.

Clean, well kept log cabin in secluded area. Many thoughtful touches including decorated for the holidays! Indoor pool was 80-84 degrees and perfect for the cold end of December days. Hot tub was clean and like new. Three bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and tons of sleeping areas. Short drive to area hiking trails, including a couple really nice waterfalls. Great relaxing the whole trip, especiallly in the swing on the porch.

This was our second time visiting, and we can't wait to go back. Unfortunately, we had to leave for a family emergency and Merri couldn't have been kinder, checking in on us after we'd left to make sure we were doing OK. This place is a gem - a gem! The cabin was very clean and incredibly spacious. Communication with the property manager was great. The cabin was a little chilly with the cold temps outside but the wood burning stove warmed us right up. The highlight of this cabin is the swimming pool, which was perfectly heated, and the hot tub. A nearby winery made a great afternoon trip, and there are hiking trails in the area too. A very relaxing weekend for all that came.... Just what we needed to unwind from every day life. The only downside is that cell service was hit or miss (better for those of us with Verizon). Would absolutely recommend this as a place to stay for those who need to unplug and relax!

Wonderful! This place is unbelievable. It’s a cabin in the middle of the woods. Truly on a dirt road in the middle of no where. There’s also no wifi and barely cell service. Some things were a little old, sliding doors stick, wood around pool a little rot from wet. If you’re the kind of person who is bothered by this, maybe you wouldn’t give it 10 stars like we would, but we were obsessed with this place. Warm indoor pool, gorgeous environment, peaceful, quiet, kayaks, beach, pond swimming, horses, fire pit, hot tub, and did I mention the heated indoor pool! We will absolutely return here and will be telling all our friends. A total vacation gem in the middle of Ohio!!

Great location to unplug and enjoy family time. My kids loved the pool, pond and just playing outdoor games. Plan on packing food and games because the closest large store is a 30 minute drive. Only down fall, the air conditioner piece was on backorder so we had to dump out the condensation in a 5 gallon bucket every few hours. The first night we were afraid it would over flow so we had to get up and check it every so often. It never did. I am sure this is fixed now because the manager seemed to be on top of it. We still give it a 5 star review.

A 60th Birthday Getaway

A 60th Birthday Getaway

We had 8 adults and 4 children two years old and younger spend the weekend at the lodge for my husband’s birthday. There was plenty of room for each family to have their own sleeping area and bathroom. The table was wonderful for family dinners. The pool was so much fun for the kids. We also ordered pizza from Shellis Shack and we rode horses with D&M Stables. Merri Anne was very welcoming and the communication was great! We had a wonderful weekend.

A Quiet and Secluded Place

A Quiet and Secluded Place

Our family, along with two other families as well, had a very nice and relaxing stay here. Be aware there is no WiFi and cell coverage is pretty minimal; boarder line nonexistent. Also note that there is only a charcoal grill for cooking. The property and cabin were very clean and maintained well. Our kids really enjoyed the pool and hot tub during our 4 day stay. Overall, it was a nice time away to disconnect and relax with family.

Overall, truly excellent spot to spend a few days with family. The only issues I had would the property needs a little updating to make it better for the customers in my opinion: 1)Caution sign for step to pool from family room (my mom did fall) and glass sliding door also needs a lock that works 2) Smoke detectors in 1st floor bathroom possibly moved or exhaust fan installed because they went off constantly when taking a hot shower 3) Left back burner to stove is not working 4) back handle needs to be replaced for hot tub outside, not duct taped for more stability. 5) Gotta get that 1st floor A/C wall unit to drain outside (should not have customers emptying a bucket) Overall, wonderful experience and site. These are truly minor things but I just want them noted so they are addressed and people can enjoy the vacation even more in the future.

Our three generation family vacation over a very rainy weekend was a super fun time! We enjoyed the pool and when there was a few hour break in the weather we kayaked and canoed and swam in the small pond. One night we ordered pizza from Shelly’s Shack. It was delicious! Merri was attentive and informative, a great help to us. We will be back
