Hidden gem

We had an amazing time at Bojig and felt so welcome. The couple who run the place are incredible and really helped make our trip. Anything we needed or they thought they could help with they would without hesitation. Riska makes amazing noodles and we have been missing her breakfast. The outdoor area is incredible. If you are wanting a home stay experience that is affordable and will make you love Bali more stay here. It is closer to the monkey forest side than the hustle and bustle side. I’m so glad we stayed here and We will be back

Good value for the money, lovely owners, good location

The place is great overall, the owners are very friendly, helpful and keen. The good breakfast with fruit plate will wait for you at your table every morning. The location is good for either going to Ubud or to waterfalls, butterfly park, reptile park, etc. in Sukawati area, while being in a calm side street. The shared kitchen is well equipped.

If you have the option, try to get one of the front three rooms. The forth room has it's entrance directly at the kitchen and has only two small windows (one proper, one wood). So it's rather dark and if there are others staying who cook a lot for themselves, you hear the kitchen sounds quite loud.

Absolutely the BEST place to stay for the money in Ubud! The hosts were so incredibly kind, helpful, friendly, and willing to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I will stay at Bojig house every time I come back to Ubud! The breakfast was to DIE FOR!!! Thank you!

If you're looking to stay in the city center, this stay might not be for you - it's about a 10 minute Gojek into the city center, this stay is a bit quieter (which is exactly what I was looking for) I had zero complaints.

From the very first moment, we felt completely at home — the hosts are truly special people, always kind, attentive, and ready to help with a genuine smile. 💛 The property is beautiful, lovingly cared for, and you can feel the warmth and peace in every little detail. Everything was spotless and perfectly maintained. Breakfast was such a treat — the fresh fruit, the flavors, and the love they put into everything made every morning feel special. 🍓☀️ The location is perfect, and the value for money couldn’t be better. 🌿✨ We left with our hearts full of gratitude and wishing we could have stayed longer… saying goodbye was really hard! 😩💕

Amazing, clean and good value for money

A lovely large clean room, with a wardrobe. Great value for money! They clean it everyday and it’s located inside a beautiful garden. The owner Riska is so lovely, she helped me get a phone holder when my scooter hire didn’t give me one. She makes you feel very welcome :). Don’t hesitate to book!

The downside is the hot water would run out after 1 min, but Bali is so hot anyway it didn’t bother me

Tucked between vibrant Ubud Central and the serene village of Desa Kemenuh, this hotel offers the perfect balance of energy, peace, and cultural richness. Waking up to the sound of roosters and the gentle stirrings of village life made each morning feel grounded and real. What truly made my stay special, though, was the hospitality. Riska is the heart of this place — warm, caring, and genuinely committed to making every guest feel welcome and comfortable. She treats you less like a visitor and more like family. On the day of my departure, I had to leave very early, and without hesitation, she offered to prepare breakfast ahead of time, just for me. It was such a small act, yet it spoke volumes about her thoughtfulness and attention to detail. Staying here isn't just about having a place to sleep — it's about being embraced by the spirit of true Balinese hospitality. I left with a full heart and lasting memories. Highly recommended!

Amazing stay with an awesome family staff

Everything about our stay was spot on. The property is stunning, with beautiful gardens that create a peaceful atmosphere. Our room was very comfortable, and the bathroom was ok. The family who runs the place is incredibly kind and attentive, they offered to clean our room daily during our two-week stay and even volunteered to do our laundry when we asked for nearby laundry options. Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh fruit served every morning. The location is also ideal (just 15 minutes by scooter to the center of Ubud) yet far enough from the hustle and bustle to feel truly relaxing. A wonderful place that I’ll definitely recommend to others.

Nothing bad to point out, just the exhaust fan wasn’t working properly, sometimes it needed a manual jumpstart to start working.

Great host, comfortable, clean, and practical space with useful amenities

This stay was excellent with a wonderful host, a clean place, comfortable beds, delicious breakfast at a peaceful location. We found this is closer to Goa Gajah and the Museum Setia Darma House of Masks and Puppets, which we walked to. The host is very helpful - she recommended some places to eat, which were tasty and affordable. She lent us umbrellas since it started raining when we were about to go out, which was very thoughtful and nice of her. The water dispenser for refilling our bottles with drinking water was such a huge differentiator for us! Thank you Riska and family, for hosting us, and we would love to visit again!

Great hospitality and breakfast for good price

Great way of staying close to Ubud in a family home, with a beautiful shrine. They have a small garage for the bikes (recommend getting one if you’re going every day to Ubud). Riska is great! She was very thoughtful all of the time. She answers fast and cleans the room every day if I don’t stop her. The breakfast is amazing, good quantity and quality, with different fruits every day. She was kind enough to move some of the days I had to the week after when I had to change my plans. The room has AC and a small table where I could use my computer from. The bed quality is also good, as I usually get back pain if it isn’t (and I didn’t). Would definitely recommend to my friends who want a good room with a fair price and great service.

Nice quiet place,

The Bojig House is situated slightly off the center of Ubud - as such it is a nice and quiet place. It is about a 10 - 15 minute ride by car / scooter into the center of Ubud - so well located as long as you have your own transport. The breakfast is decent and the lady running the place is very responsive. All in all, a very nice place - we extended our stay by a day because we liked the peace and quiet

Don’t think twice. Reserve it still available. Host is kindness and sweetest woman I ever met :) Amazing breakfast and very nice atmosphere there. You live like in temple. I unfortunately get sick before the Silent day, so all the pharmacy were closed, but she even find medicines for me😄

Сотрудники проводят качественную генеральную уборку каждый день, кровать комфортная и с белоснежным бельем, ванные комнаты просторные, но простые. Разнообразные завтраки заказываются онлайн и через минут 15 их приносят прямо к дому, каждый день был в восторге от большой тарелки с фруктами на десерт. Есть общая кухня и кулер с водой. Отель находится далеко от шумной дороги, ночью тихо и спокойно. Территория зелёная и прохладная.

Das Guesthouse liegt etwas abseits der Touristenströme. Da wir mit dem Roller unterwegs waren war dies aber absolut kein Problem, sondern eher ein großer Vorteil (mehr Ruhe). Ist sind nur 3 Bungalows, daher ist die Anlage sehr ruhig und wirklich wunderschön gestaltet. Die Besitzerin ist absolut unglaublich. Sie umsorgt einen mit allem was man braucht und ging sogar extra für uns noch einmal einkaufen, um uns Getränke zu besorgen. Für den Laundryservice wollte sie keine Bezahlung ("gehört zum Service") und sie ist via WhatsApp immer erreichbar und kümmert sich wirklich liebevoll um alles!

Der einzige Negativpunkt war der etwas modrige Geruch im Badezimmer. Dieser ist doch sehr störend und konnte auch nicht beseitigt werden (ist aber wahrscheinlich einfach der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit geschuldet). Ein Fenster zum Lüften wäre hier eine sinnvolle Verbesserung.

La chambre est très propre et bien équipée, le jardin et la terrasse sont agréables et l’emplacement est au calme, à environ 10 min en scooter du centre ville d’Ubud. Riska et sa famille sont très gentils et accueillants.
