"Cuore Barocco" Hospitality in Noto

Kitchen is well equipped. It has everything except a microwave oven but the owner offers to use of a ‘hot plate ?’ The room ceiling is high . It has a nice balcony . The glass is good enough is quite sound proof. They also provided 2 enormous bottles of drinking water and many lemons I used the cloth washer and it worked well . It took like 1.5 to 1.8 hours. The clothes were dried on the cloth rack and it took overnight to dry. The owner handed me the keys . They also allowed me to stay past 11 am . They live next door and responded to my WhatsApp promptly. They care about their business and did a great job. There is a table with 2 or 3 chairs and one single person sofa. Right below the apartment is a fish market in case you want to buy fish and seafood. The location is 850 feet from the far end of Corso Vittorio Emanuele. From one end to the other is 0.5 mile so Noto is very small.

If you arrive by train, it is a 1.0 mile walk to this apartment. The road has practically no sidewalk and if there is, you have to go up and down as there are many side streets. It was difficult for me to pull my luggage slightly uphill with no sidewalk. Someone offered me a ride but I don’t know how much. It is probably better to take a taxi. If you arrive by bus, you will be 0.3 mile closer and you can walk on the pedestrian only Corso Vittorio Emanuele so you don’t need to dodge cars. I arrived from Siracusa. Had I knew there is hardly any sidewalk, I would have taken a bus. In my opinion Noto is small enough that you can get a full immersion well within 2 days. If you are rushed for time, even 1 full day is enough for Noto. I spent a few hours in Scicli which was worth it .

El lugar muy cómodo, muy limpio. La ubicación excelente. Todo funcionaba a la perfección. Francesco, el anfitrión, fue super amable, estuvo muy pendiente de que todo estuviera bien y estuvo disponible en todo momento para cualquier cosa que necesitara.

Excellent accueil personnalisé de Tinizia et Francesco qui ont été très généreux en attentions (vin, fruits, café, etc…) et en conseils. Nous avons apprécié le parasol à disposition pour notre journée de plage. Bref parfait. Nous recommandons ce logement sans hésitation.
