Polhena Orchid Villa

Bed waa big and comfortable, however noisy fan didnt left me sleep too much. Maybe low price? but honestly, there are better options for the amount I spent

The place made me become a hunter:killed 3 cockroaches,!was advertised as 2500lkr for an apartment with washing machine available.. Owner told me he got washing m. in his house and that was extra cost (He lives with his family in the house right in the same property ). I ended paying 4000 lkr.. not to send me to bankruptcy, but I would had stay anywhere else than here if I had knew in advance there is no washing machine. Owner was shy, his wife seemed always serious or even angry..we didn't felt very comfortable. The fan was hanging from the wall and near to fall. Noisy as hell to sleep. Low water pressure but common in the country. Location is far away from.everything, 10min. walk to bus stop, 10min to Polhena beach which by the way is the worst I saw in 30 days around Sri Lanka and completely packed with locals (truly truly busy). The kitchen seemed enough to prepare meal, despite I didn't saw a knife... The 9.2 rating shown in booking is far far far, but really far from just overvalued. ps: strongly recommend to avoid Polhena beach.. not worth to go there
