Pittelille - supercozy small luxury in Henningsvær

Het was een compact huisje en van alle gemakken voorzien. Goed uitgeruste keuken en verrassend ruim. Parkeren op eigen terrein is super omdat in de omgeving overal betaald parkeren is.

De traptreden zijn wel heel smal en steile trap die je zijwaarts of achterwaarts moet nemen als je boven slaapt.

The location was great! It was adorable inside, very cozy and clean. Being a short term rental cottage host myself it would have been nice to have the area on the opposite side of the house to use for outside sitting as that seemed to be the "leeward side" of the house, since our stay (mid-June) was super windy we had no chance to sit outside, but that was ok, since we walked into the town each day to have our cafe fix and enjoy the ambience of it all.

Being from a part of the world with darkness at night, having the light coming from the door at the bottom of the bedroom stairs was too much. It was a battle to try to keep the light from coming up the stairs. Adding a heavier fabric over the white privacy blind would have helped add to the darkness at night for sleeping. The bathroom was always cold, and the shower corner was difficult as water could not be contained in one area since the shower curtain was not wrapped around the shower. If you are slight/slender in nature, the stairs are fine, but lifting up any luggage other than a small backpack is very difficult, we just kept our backpacks down stairs and that was easier. If you are sensitive to gulls squawking, then this may be difficult, as we live on an island with seabirds of all kinds this was not much of a bother, but with the kittiwakes and gulls nesting in the building next door, that could pose a problem, so ear plugs can help, then you are fine.

En mycket charmig liten villa med gångavstånd inom Henningsvaer. Väldig bra utrustad.
