Marina Beach Residence with private beach in Marinella

Great location, perfect for families with kids, the apartments were clean and had almost what we needed. Lots of restaurants nearby, a supermarket, potential to arrange activities. Beach access made a huge difference for us. We would definitely consider going back.

It would have been great to have basic things like hand soap, dishwasher tablets, rubbish sacks, oven trays and other supplies that we didn’t necessarily want to buy during a one-week holiday. There wasn’t wifi but that wasn’t a huge deal for us, even though it could be for others.

The biggest advantage of this property is undoubtedly its location. It is perfectly situated between the Costa Smeralda area and San Teodoro, making it an excellent base for exploring some of the most beautiful beaches in northern Sardinia, including the Maddalena Archipelago. Having a private beach with reserved sunbeds and umbrellas is also very convenient and saves the hassle of searching for a spot every day. Although there is no air conditioning in the bedrooms, the air conditioner in the living room works well and is powerful enough to cool the entire apartment after a couple of hours.

Unfortunately, the positives do not make up for the extremely poor value for money. Paying almost €200 per night for this apartment feels excessive considering its condition and lack of basic amenities. The apartment is delivered with virtually no supplies: no garbage bags, no dish sponge or scrubber, no dish soap, no napkins, and only one roll of toilet paper. Everything has to be purchased separately, which is unacceptable at this price. The kitchen is very basic, with limited cookware and no microwave or toaster. The apartment itself is old, with outdated 1980s-style furniture and décor, and it does not fully match the photos on Booking.com. We also did not receive one of the apartments with the lawn area shown in many of the listing pictures. Our terrace was almost unusable because pigeons were nesting in the wooden roof above it. Every day fresh pigeon droppings fell onto the table and outdoor furniture, so it constantly had to be cleaned before use. One evening we even found a bat hanging from our entrance door. The outdoor corridors are very dark at night, making the experience even more unpleasant. The so-called private beach was another disappointment. While having reserved sunbeds is convenient, the beach itself looked neglected. The sand was grey, mixed with grass, and the contrast with the neighboring resort’s private beach—separated only by a rope—was striking. Their beach had clean white sand and was clearly maintained, while ours looked neglected. The area connecting the resort to the beach also felt abandoned, with several ruined and unused commercial buildings. Overall, this property has great potential because of its location, but its maintenance, cleanliness, facilities, and overall presentation are far below what should be expected at this price. There are much better options in the area offering significantly better value for money.

Posizione super strategica. Villaggio fornito di tutti i servizi di prima necessità: farmacia, 2 bar, rosticceria, tabacchi e supermercato. Offre anche un comodo parcheggio. (le ragazze della rosticceria super simpatiche e disponibili!!!) a due passi la spiaggia riservata molto bella, ma si può raggiungere facilmente a piedi la spiaggia di marinella, con la macchina a pochi minuti altre spiagge bellissime

dovrebbero migliorare il servizio colazione ed evitare di far aspettare gli ospiti 20 minuti tutte le mattine perchè bisogna infornare i cornetti, mettetene direttamente un pò di più e vedrete che li finite lo stesso 😊

Bra liten strand och bra solsängar hörde till boendet. Lägenheten var stor och rymlig.

Köksutrustningen lämnade lite mer att önska. Saknade vinglas och plåtar till ugnen.
