Smile Hub Kandy -Youth Hostel-

Good Location, but Room Cleanliness Needs Improvement Stayed at Smile Hub Youth Hostel during my recent visit to Kandy. The location is very convenient, and the overall place has good potential. We stayed in a first-floor room, but the room was quite dusty and cleanliness could be improved. The washroom space was also a bit limited. With better cleaning and some improvements to the washroom facilities, this could be a much better place to stay. I hope these areas will be improved in the future.

Easy to find and very close to shops and restaurants. Staff was nice and very accommodating.

Not as clean as expected, basing on the photos. The towels provided smelled very bad. I found TWO live cockroaches inside the cabinet upon my arrival.

We went to Kandy for a academic purpose(87th General Convocation - University of Peradeniya). The rooms were fully air conditioned. The hospitality by Mr.Yama was so fantastic and felt the japanese cultural value in it. always available for any needs. and maintaining the place clean and tidy.

I stayed in this Hostel in Late April, the place was very nice, clean, and located on a quiet street away from the noise.

I would have liked if they install a water dispenser at the property for the guests to refresh themselves after their long journey, Kandy can be very hot. So this would help the travelers.
