NETS Cowork & Colive

Facilities were great, pool was refreshing, cafe and food was tasty, WiFi was fantastic, power was stable. Staff and other workers were friendly and it was a great atmosphere.

Would have been nice to get an upgrade to AC room for free if it wasn't very booked up during the off season. Also minor but there was one good staff member at making coffee, but when they were off it wasn't worth paying for the quality of the coffee. The others should be trained by the one who is good at making coffee.

En primer lugar nos gustó mucho que lo llevaran y gestionaran todo mujeres! El trato fue excelente! Luego nos gustó mucho el espacio y las zonas de coworking, lo tienen muy bien preparado para poder pasar unos días tranquilos a la vez que puedes trabajar. La comida y el café era riquísimo, muy buena relación calidad-precio. Luego la comunicación es muy buena, todo por WhatsApp, informan de todo y te hacen sentir parte de la comunidad. Hemos disfrutado mucho de nuestra estancia en Ahangama. Recomendamos 100% tanto si quieres ir solo a trabajar como si quieres quedarte en el lugar.

La struttura ha un bel design, camere spaziose e arredate con stile. Bellissima anche la piccola piscina circondata dalla giungla. Ottimo il servizio bar / ristorante sebbene inizi “tardi” a mio avviso (alle 9:00).

Servirebbe più pulizia nelle camere (i tappetini del bagno non erano pulitissimi). Inoltre non tutte le camere hanno uno sbocco esterno. La mia dava su un giardinetto interno a cui però non era possibile accedere quindi non potevo avere spazio personale per stendere asciugamani etc. L’ultimo pezzo per arrivare all’hotel inoltre è molto dissestato e solo i tuk tuk riescono a raggiungerlo (anche con difficoltà). Non so se questo punto verrà sistemato in futuro dato che accanto all’hotel, c’è un cantiere in corso per la costruzione di una villa.

The staff was friendly and helpful, common area is beautiful. Coworking area is quite convenient. Food is delicious.

No sound isolation whatsoever, we couldn’t sleep. Electricity cut offs all the time. Room was humid and had a smell of mold even though air conditioning was on all the time. I need VPN for work and with their WiFi I couldn’t connect to it so I had to use my cellular data. All that for 100 usd per night.. I wouldn’t recommend Sri Lanka overall because the value for money is too bad everywhere. But if you do decide to choose Ahangama, I would recommend to use the service of coworking space in NETs but to stay somewhere else.
