Old Mill national monument apartment

The history, location, and view from the apartment made the visit so special. We booked the space, knowing that it would be relatively small for our family which consisted of two adults and two teenagers. However, we decided to go ahead with the booking because of the uniqueness of the property. We have no regrets. The space is very well designed with the extra beds folding up against the wall. It is no different to staying in a king size hotel room. Being in the center of old town and looking out of the window at the main attraction was an unforgettable experience. The property was well-stocked with drinks, treats, and essentials, and the hosts were extremely helpful and friendly.

A unique once in a lifetime experience. Stay in a completely modernized room right above the river by the old bridge! We were able to slip out onto the bridge in the morning before anyone else was on it! Magical! Aida and her husband were gracious, responsive and kind hosts. The room came with free parking, a snack bar (included) with lovely treats. We were even greeted with a Canadian flag flying on the TV screen upon arrival. The room was spotless and very comfortable. I had to make a work call and the internet was fast and stable. We also made use of the table out on the patio for a snack and a glass of wine. There is an exceptional restaurant nearby — everything was right there. The location was superb. We highly recommend for anyone open minded to unique experiences.

I love everything abput the place, maybe bc I pnly stayed for one night , but for me it felt so special. It is so beatifully done and there were so many teas, snacks, biscuits, bottled water, even apples and cherries picked up by the host!! The onwer and her daughters met me for the check in and they were so sweet!! The previous communication by text with always very fluent. Seeing the sun setting over the old bridge from tje window having a cup of tea has been my favourite bit of all my trip. I wish I could have stayed longer!!! Also they offered themselves to drive me from/ to the bus station. I have been to over 35 countries and this has been one of my most magical stays if not the most! I have already told some of my friends that if they go to Mostar they must stay here!

I absolutely loved my accommodation and above all the most generous, kind and helpful hosts! The absolute best. They picked me up at the bus station and even took me to it on a cold, rainy day. The room was more beautiful than the pictures. The best mattress and pillows throughout my whole trip in the Balkans. Stocked with coffee, tea, snacks and even a medic kit. My beautiful memories of Bosnia started with this family. They set the tone. I will never forget them and my most beautiful room. Also my choice of even another property on the river. I stayed in both.
