Escaliers de la piscine très glissants (un écriteau de sécurité serait bienvenu pour éviter les mauvaises chutes). Pas de machine à café/bouilloire en chambre.

Stunning renovation of a historic building. The gardens, decor, bedrooms & public spaces are absolutely beautiful. It’s elegant & restrained. A warm, welcoming environment with incredibly comfortable beds, great products and a perfect location. Arnaud, the owner, is a lovely guy. The breakfast is also very good & the food at the restaurant is excellent. The pool area is gorgeous & never gets crowded. We loved the natural pool, though it may not be to some people’s taste & it could prove a little unsafe for small children & the elderly, so a little caution is necessary.

Breakfast is delicious but they need a new coffee machine and a new kettle 😊 Both feel like they let down such a good offering. We also noticed that the breakfast was not replenished very readily, thankfully we were there first thing so there was plenty of everything. The housekeeping tended to be quite patchy too. It’s not advertised as a hotel, so we didn’t expect that level of service, but we ended up having to ask for clean towels several times and had to empty our own bin most of the week.
