About this apartment rental
The Space: The Treehouse is part of the Casitas Eclecticas property, featuring 8 different units with 2 shared pools. This unit can be rented individually or as part of the entire property for larger groups. From the street, enter the iron gates and follow palms lining the stairwell up to the first pool area. There is a pool bathroom, Hammocks, fans and lounge chairs available for your use, as well as chairs/tables for those needing to work. Play a round of pool, or a fun game of fuzball in our game room. The second pool is located on the back part of the property. There is a back gate that can be used to enter and exit the property for another route to town.
The Unit: The Treehouse is an open air, clamping style space. The front entrance opens to a large space that houses a kitchen with a four burner stove, small fridge and all the utensils and cookware to prepare a meal. Sit at the solid wood table and eat. A full bathroom and bedroom are also part of the ample space. The kingsized bed with 100% cotton sheets and a beautiful Mexican bedspread allows for a relaxing night of sleep. The ceiling fans provides circulating air, but the open air space generally always stays cool because of the nature of the tall thatch roof. Sweeping views over the treetops and out to the neighborhood are inspiring and create an outdoor living feel. The space can be exposed to neighborhood sounds of rooster, dogs and the ins and outs of neighbors, so do bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Just outside the front door is the first pool area with access to relaxing hammocks and to the modem to connect to WIFI.

We stayed five days at the tree house and enjoyed the location away from the very busy Centro. We were looking forward to staying there and the setting and accommodation was good with fantastic views all around. What we didn’t anticipate was the dogs howling in the middle of the night and the rooster in the early morning, we made it through the chilly nights with extra blankets. The property could use a little more upgrade in general but we made the best of it.

A very pleasant and unique space, nestled in the trees. The open plan has great ventilation, the shading trees help keep it cool, and there's hints of a view over the hills. It's very private and away from the frenetic pace of central Sayulita. As warned, there are dogs that bark in the middle of the night - I've learned the value of good earplugs. Lots of jungle bird sounds in the morning makes it feel on the edge of the jungle. It has a rustic side - the hot water wasn't working and the safe had no instructions, but who needs hot water in Mexico? The kitchen is spacious and fairly well provided.

What a lovely place!
Octavia was great and very helpful.
The treehouse is in a beautiful location, and felt like a little oasis. Make sure to bring earplugs to block out the barking dogs and roosters in the morning though. Worth it for sure!
