Large Lakefront Cottage with a rustic feel and modern amenities. Enjoy the calm Goulais Bay on three acres of waterfront property. Located just 25 minutes from Sault Ste Marie and 10 minutes from Goulais River Country Store and IDA Drugmart. Sand and pebble beach with a large sandbar in the lake for safe swimming. Enjoy the property and water suitable for young children. U-shape, paved driveway for lots of parking availability. Two person kayak provided to guests. ATV trails are located nearby.

Amazing, relaxing, beautiful.This was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the Canadian summer with our two kids.From the moment we arrived, everything felt easy and welcoming—super clean, with all the essentials provided (including firewood and pantry basics like coffee and sugar). The interior is cozy and minimal but had everything we needed, including very comfy beds that everyone slept well in!Some of our favourite features were the big windows that let in tons of natural light, a spacious pergola-covered patio for lounging by the water and a great BBQ setup. We loved being outside and really appreciated the peaceful surroundings.The host was great—responsive, helpful, and quick to answer any questions. We felt well taken care of from start to finish.Highly recommend this cottage for families, couples, or anyone looking to rest, recharge, and enjoy nature without sacrificing comfort. We’d absolutely stay here again. I even managed to read two books—now that’s a good vacation.

Great property with lots of space and common comforts. The outdoor spaces were well appointed with everything you might need, lots of shade, access to the water and not too far from town. The swimming is a bit of a challenge if you don’t want to walk for a mile before you can swim but great for those who don’t mind. The bedrooms were comfortable with enough space, though upstairs has a very short ceiling maybe 6’ at its highest which was a challenge for our tall family. Having a washroom on each level was appreciated by everyone when getting ready for bed. Overall we had a great time. Only complaint was the fridge does not have crisper drawers or door space which made keeping the fridge organized and fitting everything in a bit more difficult, but we managed. Would recommend bringing coolers for drinks which we did to keep everything cool. Overall we all thought it was a great place to stay, would recommend and would come again.

My grandparents lived on Goulais Bay and I spent many summers there. I wanted to give my grandkids the same experience. They loved it! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
