A charming Shenandoah Chalet nestled in the scenic beauty of Front Royal, VA. Our cozy getaway offers breathtaking sunset views and a tranquil ambiance. Situated just minutes away from the North Entrance of the Skyline Drive, adventure awaits. Immerse yourself in nature as you kayak or canoe along the nearby Shenandoah River. With a pond view adding to the allure, our retreat is an idyllic escape where you can unwind and reconnect with nature.
Experience the magic of Shenandoah at Sunset Haven Step into our master bedroom, where luxury meets nature in perfect harmony. With direct access to the deck, you're greeted by breathtaking views of rolling mountains and tranquil ponds, where the occasional geese gracefully glide across the water, painting a picturesque scene against the backdrop of vibrant sunsets.
For those with a competitive edge, our entertainment room offers an array of gaming options to keep the excitement going. Challenge your friends to a thrilling game of pool or showcase your precision with a round of darts. For fast-paced action, engage in an epic foosball showdown or select from our collection of board games for a night of laughter and friendly competition.
But the entertainment doesn't end indoors – step outside to our backyard oasis and discover a world of relaxation and leisure. Complete with comfortable seating under the pergola and a Hot Tub after a day's hike.

Junewood Estates on Rivermont Drive with private community access to the Shenandoah river. The river access is just a 5 min drive from the property, offering a spectacular valley view.
Parking Spaces: 4 cars ONLY. No public parking available
River Access: Take a right on to sunset village road all the way down to the river. On snow days, it can be difficult to drive down to the river. At all other times access is not difficult and the incredible views you get while driving down won't disappoint!
PETS: Pets are allowed at our property for a nominal pet fee. Please add your furry companions to the guest list when booking. Please check with host when bringing multiple pets or breeds larger than 50lbs.
SECURITY CAMERA: We have security cameras that record the front door, front yard looking out on the road and the driveway. This allows us to facilitate remote check in and monitor the property between guests.
BUGS: This is a house close to the river, with a pond close to the backyard--that means there are a number of bugs, especially in the summertime. Even if you are careful some of those bugs will find their way into the house. The best way to minimize the number of bugs inside is to keep doors and windows closed after dusk. An electric Fly Trap is provided for indoor use.

This was a great location very close to the Shenandoah Skyline Drive entrance and all that the park and river had to offer. For us it was hiking and tubing. The place was peaceful as we walked our dogs in the AM, and the area neighbors were very friendly. The house was a perfect size for my family of 5 and 3 dogs.
If you stay at this location i recommend bringing extra towels, and extra paper towels. I would have liked to see a pet gate for the deck considering the yard fencing is not closed off. Our dogs loved running around the deck and yard but we were still concerned that they would run out onto the road if we were not looking. A Great spot. A beautiful home. A Perfect escape.

What a shiny gem this is amongst the entrance of the Shenandoah! Expansive very new house. Gorgeous banks of windows and spectacular views. Huge dining and entertaining spaces upstairs and the lower level is just so much fun! Pool table, darts, foosball, a huge wet bar complete with lounge TV seating, fridge, barstool seating and of course neon signs and cheeky slogans. Bedrooms are huge and lovely. Bathrooms very modern and higher quality. Outdoors you’ll find a hot tub and a pergola with cozy seating. Lovely string lights and lawn lighting everywhere. And the wraparound upper deck offers expansive views and more areas for grilling and hanging out. Would definitely recommend for couples, friend groups and even an event as the space has great capacity for special occasions!

Really enjoyed our stay. The house was lovely with amazing views. The bar and game room were fun. Lots of detail and thought were put into making this house feel like home. We will definitely be back!
