Blue Oasis - Jacuzzi Penthouse

A great small apartment that has everything you need for a city stay. The kitchen was well equipped. There some basics in the kitchen - salt pepper olive oil coffee exc. There are blackout shades and an a/c in every room. Everything was nice and clean.

The bed is very soft and springy so it's not to my liking. Also was missing big mugs for tea, only small espresso cups.

Το τζακούζι ήταν γεμάτο μικρά φελιζόλ οπότε δεν το χρησιμοποιήσαμε. Υπήρχαν μόνο 2 σαπουνάκια για 3 βράδια 2 ατόμων. Τα μαξιλάρια χρειάζονται αλλαγή καθώς και τα κλινοσκεπάσματα (είχαν τρύπες) Στο μπαλκόνι παρότι ήταν πολύ όμορφα δεν μπορούσες να καθίσεις καθώς ο χλοοτάπητας ήταν μέσα στα σκουπίδια, φυτρωμένα χόρτα και λιμνάζοντα νερά. Η καθαριότητα του διαμερίσματος χρειάζεται περισσότερη προσοχή.

Everything was as advertised, value for money, the hot tub is a bonus, easy check in instructions, you would easily pay double in the city centre, the bed is comfy, spacious apartment, lift to take luggage up and down, cooking facilities, very clean, the host is good with communication, me and my partner are keen walkers, so we don't mind walking, Athens has a lot to see, one of those things is the changing of the Gaurds, which is about 10/15 minutes away, near the garden of the president, as you walk further you will go into the national park, then from there you will start seeing all the beautiful architecture/buildings, even If you don't want to walk, a taxi is only €5-9 euro into the centre, to the airport €36 to €51, the host also offers private pick up at a similar cost which is nice. Oh and you can also see the acropolis from a distance, quiet neighbourhood, so if this is for you don't shop around, book you won't regret it. Thank you to the host, Stephen and Yzel :)

Supermarket and restaurant all near by. 40 minute walk into central or 10 minute taxi ride

Firstly the lift doesnt work when you press the 6th floor. You have to press the 5th floor and then take a small flight of steps to the 6th floor. The host said they werent aware of this issue but she was the one who told me how to get up there without have to take the stairs. The apartment was smaller than what it looks like on the pictures. The host was amazing in terms of availability on whata app, as initially i didnt realise there was an electricity card on the keys. The instructions werent very clear so i felt panic thinking there wasnt any lighting or ac but the host explained the electricity card.After exploring the city i realised the jacuzzi needed a clean which I tried to do myself but the dirt wouldnt drain, so i didnt use it. It was smaller than what it looks like on pictures. There was also mould on the shower head. The kettle wasnt clean so I didn't use it. I only stayed for a long weekend and didnt get chance to report issues sooner as i was travelling ny myself however do check all of this as soon as you get there and report it. As i was told the host didnt get the time to rectify the issues however these checks should have been done prior to check in. Overall it was average place to stay for the price i paid,there was complemtary water in the fridge and the local cafe called the sloth was amazing ideal for quick coffee or brunch.
