Extended Stay America Premier Suites - Boise - Meridian

We needed an affordable clean place to stay while we traveled from California to tour Boise State University with our daughter and this fit all of our needs. It was in a great location, clean with friendly staff.

Not again. I booked & paid for 5 rooms, arrived at 5pm to find the front desk staff checked in strangers for one of mine ahead of time. He kept saying there are 4 rooms left for my party, took 1.5 hr later to get settled, got the room back. We cleaned ourselves since they handed us 2 towels and that was all they were gonna do when they removed the strangers from the room. Area was great. Their “breakfast” was non-existent: 2 types of grain/oat bars because we were all coffee drinkers one small basket of apples that has 2 left at 715am. There’s another small basket of wrapped mini muffins but there weren’t any by 715am. Granted the staff said it was a full house but to not refill these tiny baskets of treats is lazy management if not false advertising. If they weren’t planning to provide the supplies dont put up the sign that says breakfast available from 6a-930a, it should say breakfast avail from 6a-715a because there weren’t much of anything left by that time. Coffee, creamer also provided (until the 2 large pots run out.) Room size were good, queen beds comfy enough with 3 pillows on each. One of my 5 rooms had no soap so we went back down to front desk to get some. Artificial wood floors can be easy to clean but it sure gets noisy with stompin shoes. There were a lot of construction contractors/workers staying and they’re loud. Parking okay, adequate security lighting. Area convenient, easy access to freeway. $145/nt for Boise IDaho isn’t much these days but I feel like I should never be back to this place for this kind of hassle.
