Beautiful Mediterranean Villa with A/C, WIFI

Secluded location. Pool was clean, unfortunately due to the unusually cool weather (it rained 5 out of 7 days) not used. Large dining room. Various outdoor terraced areas were all good usable spaces.

The whole property (apart from the dining room) needed lights on the whole time as it was very dark. Seating areas inside uncomfortable. The 2 lower bedrooms seemed damp all the time. General appearance of the kitchen appliances looked very tired more than rustic.Cooker in the kitchen had no visible markings on any of the dials and the fridge/freezer door had multiple rusty areas. Whilst there was a lot of mismatched crockery we did have to ask the owner for larger cereal bowls/mugs. He did arrive the following day with some. Whilst there were 3 hairdryers in the property on day one 2 of them were unusable, the owner did take 1 away but never replaced it and left one. This left 1 working hairdryer for the 5 rooms. In general we had a nice stay, but in all of our opinions the inside particularly would have benefited from a thorough clean as could the outside areas. On checking out we did send the owner a message with regard plumbing issue and about the dampness in the lower rooms to which we never received a reply.

Cool old house with a ton of character and lots of communal spaces in a beautiful location. The owner was very responsive.

The driveway is very narrow. It was fine for cars but challenging for bigger vehicles.
