masseria Don Bonifacio

We came here as a group of 13 and booked three of the four houses. It's a fantastic place to stay, incredibly reasonably priced for the facilities and a really beautiful site with old farmhouse-style accommodation and lots of plants around. The pool was excellent in terms of size and temperature (and not too chlorinated), and there was a lovely shaded patio as well as loads of sun loungers and cushions to relax by the pool. The kitchens were basic but functional and we cooked for ourselves for a lot of the time, including with the barbecue which was a really fun addition. The location was good, especially with a car, and there were lots of supermarkets, restaurants and beaches a short drive away. It's in a really quiet spot so the only other people we interacted with were the people in the fourth house, who were very nice and polite. The host was friendly and responsive, and flexible when we were running 10 minutes late for checkout. Overall a lovely place to stay, especially for the price and location.

We had a gas leak which unfortunately wasn't resolved and we were asked to unplug the gas alarm which we were unwilling to do for safety reasons - we chose to turn the gas off instead, which worked but meant we couldn't use the hob for the duration of our stay. Another of the houses also had very weak air conditioning in the lounge which was hired out as a bedroom, which was tricky in July as it got very hot for the people sleeping in there, but the air con was otherwise good across the three houses we had (including in the bedroom in that same house).

Está bien pero quizás un poquito más de limpieza. No estaba sucio pero yo que soy algo maníatica me hubiese gustado que el suelo estuviese algo más limpio. Pero para cualquiera estaba genial

Attention au sommier dans la chambre au lit double, trop petit et génère donc un inconfort pour dormir + vérifier évacuation douche qui se bouche rapidement + peu d’eau chaude à la douche
