The property impressed with its spotless cleanliness, attentive staff, and excellent facilities, including reliable Wi-Fi and spacious rooms. The hot water was consistent, contributing to a restful sleep. While the location was convenient, the overall value for money could be better considering the cost. A solid choice for those prioritizing comfort and amenities.

I've never had such a bad hotel experience. I have traveled almost all over India, but for the price, this hotel gave me the worst experience. There is no lift in this hotel. The swimming pool is very dirty. There is only 1 staff member for the entire hotel because all the other staff are at their second property, which is 70 meters away. If you need tea or a water bottle, you have to walk 70m to their other hotel. And they charge the same rates for both hotels, but even that second hotel isn't well maintained.

Staff really needs to be trained in hospitality. They straight up deny requests and lie than even make the slightest of efforts. These are some incidents that happened among 10s of others. I ask for a dish to be reheated at 10:02 pm, guy tells me not possible toeven access microwave since kitchen closes at 10. I ask for the manager, I get told he's on leave. I find a number to connect to, this guy tells me he's the manager and only if we had connected before 10:30 they could have done something. Next day I ask for a late checkout, I get told not possible since all rooms are booked out, I check inventory online and everything is available. When I confront them I get told that's a mistake, but should have seen his face when I told him I would have paid for another day if they had something and would have asked nicely. All in all not a worthwhile experience at the stay. Bad food (whatever we had), bad people, sub par amenities. Just that it was clean and spacious but that is the case with every Varkala property so hard pass
