A really beautiful but comfortable home/house. Stunningly curated with so many wonderful areas of the house to explore and relax. We took our dogs with us over Xmas and they also could relax, walk everywhere with us. Everything you needed was there and it was just such a beautiful peaceful space to relax and move between outside and inside. We will definitely be back.
Nothing really - would just suggest a small gate at the end of the front entrance porch to stop small kidos and dogs from heading around to the front of the house.

Newman house was so gorgeous. We were rained in over the weekend but because the property was so beautiful we didn’t need to leave it. The detail of the decor was inspiring. Absolutely the best place I have stayed in. Every corner of the house had a story and ambience about it. Love love loved it
The music system was complicated and eventually we didn’t use it. We got excited over the record player only to discover that it had no stylus so couldn’t play it. The wifi was not strong enough for us to be able to connect with the sound system. The tv connection was spotty.

Location and great heating
A client who is an artist stays yearly at this property loves it. My husband and I found the artwork around the house a bit creepy personally. Overall decor was lovely though.

The location was great and walking distance to everything. We stayed in the first night and cooked dinner with the fire going. The next day we walked to the lake and then had dinner on the main street about a 5 minutes walk. The yard is dog friendly and we were able to leave our Labrador outside on her bed. There was a doggie dog but she prefers to wait for us. I would definitely come back and also recommend to others.
