Everything is nicely clean. The staff is always welcoming and nice. Great location (for us).

The shower head was clogged by calcium, I'm sure they would have cleared it but we only had one night and it was not worth it. WhatsApp availability is somewhat slow.

Felt like home away from home. The team at Jangkar was really friendly and helpful. Walking distance to warung sika which serves really good nasi padang, walking distance to I'm Vegan Babe and Secret Spot, and both are plant-based F&B outlets. Good food!

There's nothing I don't like, cause it was exactly what I signed up for. There's no kettle in room, but just have to go to reception and the friendly team will get you hot water!

Amazing quiet place in Canggu!

Everything was perfect! Really well located in Canggu yet very quiet place. Room was big and clean, water everyday in the room, small pool super nice when it gets too warm and the family & staff are the kindest people you can find! They also arranged scooters for us at a very good price. Can only recommend !

Great place to stay. We were there for 6 weeks and felt at home from day 1… the location is perfect, near the buzz but not in a noisy area…the room is big and comfortable, it has a great bathroom and nice balcony to chill… The staff are very friendly, helpful and polite… the place is kept spotless… wonderful…

Lovely boutique hotel - home from home.

Great location, staff were the kindest people I’ve met. They were so accommodating to us. Treat you like one of the family. Pool was clean, rooms were lovely. Cleaned daily. few mins walk to restaurants and maybe 10 mins to the beach. Cant fault this hotel or any the staff. They went above and beyond for us. Always smiling. Thank you jangker for a lovely stay.

Slice of heaven in Canggu

Everything was perfect. The bed is huge and really comfortable, the pillows were so soft and fluffy. There is a fridge in the room(2nd floor). They also provide a drying rack which is so thoughtful and handy. There is also a safe in the room. Plenty of space in the closet including hangers and a couple of drawers. The view from the 2nd floor balcony was peaceful. There are 2 chairs and a table so you can sit and watch the sun go down. I could not hear my neighbour through the wall when the doors were closed so that was a plus. As for sleeping, I wasn't disturbed at night by noise from the outside, except from the occasional dog bark but that was before going to bed. The bathroom: They provide towels as well as toothbrushes and tiny toothpastes, very thoughtful. The shower was amazing, water pressure was great and had hot water. There's also two shower heads, one rain shower and one detachable. You could order food as well here when you don't want to leave the guesthouse. They have coconuts as well which I had every other day. The service is amazing. Everyone is lovely and eager to help. Rooms are cleaned every day and towels and linens maybe every two or three days, can't remember but it was often. Also provide two small water bottles everyday when rooms are cleaned. The location was top tier. About a 15 minute walk to the beach and so many restaurants around within a short walk. There's a circle K nearby to buy bits like water. Pasek and Christie, the owners were so lovely to chat with. Hearing about their story of founding Jangkar, for their kids and what it means to them was really heartwarming. I felt completely safe staying here, it being a family running this guesthouse just added to the warm homey feeling.. My stay exceeded my expectations and I can't wait to return.

I was glad that I accidentally made the perfect choice for my first few nights in Bali.

Staff were very friendly and their hospitality was exceptional. We used their airport pick up service which was flawless. The location of this guesthouse is perfect - it is in the middle of Canggu and only a few minutes walk or scooter away from lots of restaurants, shops, and activities. The price is also excellent - great value for money.

Cannot recommend this place enough. What was exemplary was the staff - everything was very clean, the staff were very accommodating and treated you as if you were part of their family. The rooms/bathroom are fairly new and given its price point and location - it is a very highly recommended stay!

The location is AMAZING! Close to great restaurants, shopping and beach clubs (la Brisa). This is a family owned business and they are a really great family. Very welcoming, helpful and they offer adventure tours all around Bali. The property is very clean and well maintained. Meals and drinks are sold at the property. Scooters are available for rent outside the property. Keep an eye out of the villa opening soon! We will be back ⚓️

Wonderful

We just loved our stay here, everything was perfect. Great location, you can walk to the beach and to the centre. Great places to eat are nearby. Good wifi. Clean room. Hosts are the best! Very friendly and lovely family. You can order breakfast, or lunch/dinner from them too for a cheap price. Host has a bartending experience, so we received the best cocktails for a great price. Try espresso martini. Definitely recommend staying here!!!

Staff - Staff were amazing, the treated us with the biggest and warmest welcome! And are always available and happy to assist us with our needs. Facilities - There’s a little lobby entrance, where the host of the villas are located. There’s a toilet accessible there, a a mini shop which they host where you can get access to water bottles and drinks etc. they have a pool, this was cleaned regularity. Cleanliness - They we’re always on the go go go with cleanliness. Floors, rooms, pools and their facilities were regularly cleaned. Comfort - such a spacious area and private. Beds are comfortable! Location & Value - it’s very local and easily accessible for other mods of transportation, and the price is very cheap.

I only have two complaints, very minor. The bed base squeaks a lot, but considering my partner and I are big boys, this was understandable. Beds only had 1 pillow. Rooms would be next level if they could have their own mini fridge. But there was a larger communal fridge everyone had access to.

Amazing stay!

The guesthouse is new, clean and very well-maintained. We really enjoyed our stay due to the kindness of the guesthouse owners. The room service is also excellent - we ordered from the cafe everyday. They make excellent coffee, tea and mie goreng! As the guesthouse owners stay nearby, we felt safe as they are very attentive and check the security cameras.

My partner and I stayed here in August 2023. After arriving we met the owners which were a lovely couple. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and comfortable. They went out of their way to help us arrange and book stuff. The property itself is perfect, the rooms are a good size, clean and tidy. I've visited Bali many times and these were the nicest toilets I've seen. They change your sheets and provide fresh towels every day. The make a great coffee as well. The location is perfect, right in the center of Canguu however it's a very quite spot. Highly recommend.

Lovely family business, kind, and very accommodating; location is great, near cafes, restaurants, and shopping areas, close enough but far away from the noise. The room and facility is very clean also. Definitely recommend!

They just need a sign from the main road so we can more easily find it (without gps access). It is a new hotel/guesthouse, just opened, so they are working on it :) Until then, make sure you take screen shots of google map if you do not have a sim card/ internet data on your phone to access gps.

Home away from home

The location is good! You can walk to town or even the beach, restaurants and shops near by. Still no loud music or too much traffic in the close area. Few nights a week you can hear some music but not too loud that you could not sleep. The staff is super nice and wants to do everything they can to make your stay perfect. The bathroom is beautifull and the room nice. You get a proper blanket and nice clean towels. Aircon works and the room have shear and dark curtains.

The place is brand new so some minor things need to be done ( Kitchen needs small things plates, soap, paper etc. you can already ask plates from front desk though). The road to the place few meters from the main road is not done and only partly light. Did not bother me iPhone flashlight did the trick!

A hidden gem just minutes away from the beach and famous Canggu spots! We will definitely be back!

We came to learn how much the family running the place values togetherness, and they did a great job making us feel welcomed and at home. They were incredibly hospitable and even helped us rent a motorbike. Speaking of motorbike, the location is just walking distance from the beach and many of famous spots. The entire place was spotless! We saw them clean the floors and even the railings of the second floor every morning. We came back at the end of the day to a clean bedroom and bathroom. We were most particular about finding a place with a clean bathroom, and we definitely got that. The place also has a small cafe where you can buy snacks and drinks for a very reasonable price.

As this is still a new place, they had yet to put a sign out on the Main street so it was quite hard to find where to go. Also, you would not be able to park a car here (but you can park a scooter!).

What a beautiful homestay, brand new, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, nicely decorated, a great little pool and not to mention Pasek, his family and staff are so welcoming and make you feel at home. They helped me with any thing I needed including getting my bike fixed. I highly recommend this stay to anyone coming to canguu. Also they have opened up a little Cafe out the front perfect for your coffee fix, drinks or food to come.

I loved everything, beautiful new accomodation, in a great location. Close to everything but in a quiet street. Pasek & his beautiful family were so warm and welcoming and went above and beyond. Truely a home away from home. Can’t wait to visit again ☺️
