We stayed in this beautiful room just a few minutes from Amalfi's historic center and Duoglio beach, which we reached on foot via some stairs. The area is well-served by buses that stop right outside, as well as bars, a sandwich shop, and scooter rentals. The room was very clean and the view breathtaking. We'll be back.

About a 5 km walk into town no problem just take the bus it is outside the accommodation every hour

The property was clean, and we didn’t need many steps to get in. There was a bus stop right next to the property that took you to Amalfi which was helpful. Also the view was exceptional and we were welcomed with a bottle of wine which could be enjoyed in the bath. It was a decent room for sleeping only. The guide that was shared by Michaela was very helpful
The bathroom had a moldy smell, there were no windows in the house so there was no way to get rid of the smell and it felt a bit like we are in a jail cell. In addition the bath did not have a motion feature so it is not like a jacuzzi. Overall I would say this is a ripoff and not how it is shown in the photos as it was a very old house with a small renovation. There was no shampoo, only a shower gel, no way to clean the wine glasses which were a bit stained inside and it was quite far from Amalfi, a 37 minute walk. Moreover the hot water was gone rather quickly and we had to shower in the cold one night. This was at best a 2 star house, definitely not a 3-star property and definitely didn’t worth the 160 euros per night… when you want to charge that much you need to at least have a window and do a soundproofing as the noise of the cars is unbearable. The fact that it is a guest house doesn’t mean that you need to leave your guests with only one pair of towels this is the first time I have encountered this. Also greet your guests with a bottle of water, a second pair of towels and some bath salts for the bath it doesn’t cost much…
