Wonderful peaceful rejuvenating

Wonderful - our second visit, a different type of lodge this time. Hot tub was fantastic, couldn't fault anything, comfy bed, sofa, all the facilities for cooking etc. and spotless Loved seeing the hens, ducks geese and other animals. If you love nature and peace and quiet in winter this is the place.

No dishwasher but that is so nit picky!

Quiet, relaxing stay

Beautifully clean,well maintained and peaceful site. Would definitely return for a relaxing mini break.

The hot tub is at the front of the caravans with no privacy at all. Maybe a privacy screen around the decking area of hot tub would make it more enjoyable. Few minor signs of wear and tear in caravan but nothing major. (One of dining chair covers frayed, one of nets torn, radiator didn't work in bedroom).

Perfect, peaceful retreat

Perfect, secluded place, a very quiet and relaxing few day's. Caravan was just perfect for the two of us, and we loved the hot tub, very few people around, so we very much enjoyed our 'time out' of normal routines, highly recommended for a peaceful get away!

Perfect accommodation in a beautiful location

Accommodation was immaculate, comfortable and cosy. We had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Bed was made up and plenty of towels. Hot tub an added bonus. Staff lovely and friendly, swift check in and out. Can’t wait to visit again.

Exceptionally clean accommodation and very comfortable. Views were stunning and hot tub great fun. A perfect relaxing stay. Can highly recommend the breakfast in the cafe. They also provided take out if required. Walks around the park are a must and fishing lakes stunning.

Overall, Loved it!😁

The Cosy Cafe breakfast was fantastic, it’s a pity it’s not open on more days. Didn’t try the pool but the weather wasn’t outdoor pool friendly when we stayed.

Site shop was a little disappointing, every other place we’ve stayed had all the basics, veg, milk, eggs, bread etc, some had frozen ready meals, which can be handy on the 1st day. But, there are major supermarkets within 5-8 miles. Site isn’t within walking distance of any tourist sites really & the roads are def. not really pedestrian friendly (but then it’s Cornwall isn’t it, high hedges, narrow roads is normal & expected. - We lived in East Cornwall for a fair few years)

Nice quiet site, ideal for couples or for families to use as a base for exploring the surrounding area.

Exceptionally clean and fresh on arrival. Well stocked kitchen in terms of equipment, useful kitchen pack including tea towel, washing up liquid, scourer and cloth, plenty of bathroom towels. Nice duvet and bed linen. The inbuilt hot tub was also so lovely to have and always warm.

The water took a long time to get warm in the shower and kitchen (I think this was possibly related to the hot tub and the required boiler setting). It was a little stuffy in the caravan so would have been an advantage to have had a fan or aircon. Only other criticism was that the hook on the bathroom door couldn’t be used to hang towels on as it fell out as soon as anything was hung on it. It was easy enough to slot back in but clearly this was all that had been done by the maintenance staff when it had previously fallen out rather than securing it to the point where it could be properly functioning.

No easy access to public transport. You have to have your own car or book taxis which isn’t cheap. Walking down the very narrow roads to the nearest bus stop is very risky.

The property was immaculate, very homely with being away, had everything you needed, the shower was powerful, and the beds were super comfy, wifi internet signal was exceptional, i would definitely stay longer next time, the cafe staff were lovely nice to chat too and are great cooks, i loved the food they made us! The outdoor pool was so clean definitely could of stayed longer than the hour time slot with the sun!

The location was next to st austell so we planned to go there it wasnt ideal place to go! But we wasn’t here long so better planning for us next time as I’m sure there is something local we missed that we could of gone to but the property and views were beautiful , probably think about where to go for the evening time as there is no clubhouse on the property only if you like to venture out for the evening time, but the property was big enough and was enough to have a couple of drinks and relax especially if you have children!

Very peaceful and beautiful place to stay

Lovely place, lots to do for kids and places to walk the dogs. Didn’t use pool but it looked nice. Lodge was clean and adequate size for 2 people

Nothing really but afew little things such as, Cafe wasn’t open Monday-wed Hot tub was alittle small more like a bath. Could have done with a lamp the living room for the evenings. Shower doesn’t empty very quick so can only have short showers otherwise base leaks

Loved it

We lived the stay at meadow lakes. All the amenities were provided. Cleanliness and privacy was more than we expected. Would definitely recommend it if you’re someone who wanna get away from all your rush and busy life and need some time for yourself. Hospitality and cooperation of the staff were excellent.Iam definitely gonna book it again .I literally loved the stay.

Transportation is poor. Its hard to reach there if you are someone who doesn’t have a car.No shops nearby for any food

I had an amazing stay at this accommodation! The place was clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained, making it the perfect escape for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was definitely the private hot tub — it was spotless, well-heated, and perfectly positioned for enjoying the peaceful surroundings. After a long day of exploring, soaking in the hot tub under the stars was the perfect way to unwind.

A relaxing very enjoyable stay.

It was clean, well maintained and very comfy. The situation of the chalet given to us was at the top of the site so we had a really nice view of the fields and hills around. It was so peaceful that we spent half a day and the evening sitting on the veranda with cool drinks and food. This is the second time we have been to this site and both times we have loved it. Would go back any time

It is a very good place the only thing that I found both times is that the "shop" needs improving. This time round there was no bread or milk to start us off with a cup of tea which you need when you have driven quite some way., The freezer is only stocked with either beef or chicken burgers.

Peaceful and secluded getaway!

For a holiday park, it was amazing. Everywhere was clean and tidy. Everything presented above the average standards. The staff were exceptional for us, we actually stayed an extra night because it was so relaxing. Hot tub was spot on too. We did visit in quiet times with no school holidays etc, but I think even busy it would be a well run establishment.

There was very little to complain about. Could have done with a sharp knife in the kitchen, but that's being pedantic.

Loved our stay!

Perfect getaway with the family, lots on site to keep the kids entertained and great location to venture out to beaches and towns too. Staff were fantastic, welcoming and helpful. We had a lodge, garden cottage and house booked and all were comfy and had everything we needed - like a home from home.
