Hotel Madonna di Loreto

Mi è piaciuta la vicinanza alla santa casa è stato un bellissimo tempo di ristoro e preghiera.

Ho percepito da parte di chi gestisce la struttura una certa rigidità giudizio e chiusura nei confronti degli ospiti, soprattutto verso chi è distante dal suo modo di vedere le cose.

L'albergo è situato all'interno delle mure dove è anche il santuario della casa della madonna di Loreto, che a livello architettonico è notevole e bellissimo alia vista. Il luogo è silenzioso e di conseguenza rilassante, così come la vista dalla finestra della camera, dove si intravede un paesaggio misto: parte delle campagne lavorate, parte del paese e anche parte del mare. Con un effetto notevole di positività sull'umore. Il personale accogliente e preparato. La camera, come tutto il resto, in ottime condizioni di igiene. Colazione compresa, soddisfacente, dal salato al dolce. Io ho mangiato dei pancake soffici e golosi con la crema di nocciola, ma si potevano scegliere marmellate diverse e anche sciroppo d'acero. Sono soddisfatta in generale. Lo consiglio e ci ritornerei sicuramente.

Hotel Madonna di Loreto has a strict check-in time of 9:00 pm, with no option for contactless check-in, and so we rushed to make sure that we would arrive sometime between 8:00 and 9:00 p.m. As we approached the hotel, we discovered that the hotel was located inside a ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone), so we could not drive our rental car all the way to the hotel. That was really frustrating, and I would like to have known that before reserving the hotel! We then ended up having to pull our car over to the side of the road outside the ZTL so that we could hike up the hill to the hotel (hauling all of our bags with us up the hill). Once we reached the hotel, we rang the bell and were let into the building. We were warmly greeted, and checkin was fairly straightforward. We were given our keys, both for our room and for the outer door. After getting our bags into our room I rushed out to move our car (as I would have eventually gotten a parking ticket where it was), and I drove around until I finally found a public parking lot. (Be sure to download the EasyPark app to your phone to easily manage paying for street and parking lot parking!) I hiked up an even larger and longer hill and, after about a 15 minute walk, finally arrived back at the hotel. I returned to the room to check it out further and found it to be quite outdated. The air condition was the old style air conditioner that typically sits under the window that I haven't seen in years. It was running, but taking quite a while to cool the room. The shower was extremely small, to the point where it was difficult to actually take a shower. In the morning the provided breakfast was quite good, and checkout was also straightforward. The hotel was right nest to the Basilica, so it was a very easy walk to the Basilica. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, but I would stay somewhere else next time, due to the location inside the ZTL, the outdated air conditioning, and the extremely small shower.
