The room we were given smelled like a wet cat and felt damp. We found a ball of what looked like lint and hair when we entered. The paint on the walls was peeling. Luckily we were able to also for another room without an issue

The hotel and room were clean. The beds were comfortable and made for a good night's rest. The checkin staff did the bare minimum. When we asked about places close by to order dinner from , we were told that she couldn't really tell us about anything because she was vegan. Most places will offer you a list of recommendations. I could tell we had interrupted her phone surfing time by checking into our room. We ordered when we got to our room and had it delivered. We called to make her aware that we were waiting for delivery. When we received the text that it had arrived, I immediately went downstairs and got there just in time to keep the delivery person from exiting the hotel because she was sending them away. With the exception of lack of attention from front desk, our one night stay was good.

Upon walking in to the hotel you immediately notice that the rugs at the front desk are stained, and furniture in the lobby is worn. Room was standard, modern amenities, bed was clean, however tables were dusty, bathroom walls were dirty, and dirty washcloth left hanging on the shower curtain. We had family of 3 noted on the reservation, but they didn’t provide enough towels. When I called the desk for another towel, I noticed the phone looked like it had not been cleaned. AC was very loud in the room, and was not working in the hallway, leading to a musty smell. Person at check-in had her AirPods in and was not very helpful to a gentleman trying to figure out his rate. I have stayed at several hotels in the area and never had issues like this.

Was very confused why they did not allow me to get a late checkout- the hotel was quite empty. They threatened to charge me 25 dollars if I did not leave by 11AM. Also a lot of working men, not sure if it’s a good idea for a woman traveling alone.

I really like this hotel and hate that this has to be said, but the smell of urine saturated the floor we stayed on. Staff was great and I do believe that had the issue been presented to the front desk that the hotel would have given us other options for the night. I was a late night check-in and I was only going to catch a few hours of sleep before I would be on my way so I sprayed the room heavily with air fresherner which I later regretted doing... It then smelled like flowers and piss. Staff has always been top notch in customer service relations, the property was kept safe by on-site security who was vigilant yet very non intrusive. The room was spacious clean, the hotel was very calm and quite, but again the smell of urine saturated even my clothes! I had to run down to the wash immediately after my stay because they too took on the the smell of the room. Great hotel but this time was an exception to what is typically considered in my opinion a solid safe booking normally a 4.5/5 stars, but they get a 3 star review from me on this stay.

Even though the elevator was not working, the staff was so helpful. They took us up down on the elevator manually. There was also an error with my billing & it was handled promptly & resolved immediately. The staff including the manager were so friendly & helpful. I recently stayed at La Quinta, and overall, the property itself was wonderful. Everything was spotless and looked to be brand new—from the lobby to the rooms, it was clear that cleanliness and upkeep were a top priority. I also really enjoyed the breakfast; it was fresh, well-stocked, and had a nice variety of options. However, I have to be honest about the customer service experience. While the hotel itself exceeded my expectations, the front desk personnel fell short. I’m not sure if it was just an off weekend, but the staff came across as extremely rude and unapproachable during my stay. It definitely put a damper on what would’ve otherwise been a perfect visit. If the customer service had matched the quality of the property, this would’ve easily been a five-star experience.

Very new, modern, and clean hotel at its level. But its breakfast was really lacking. Shower water flow was also quite small. Bed and pillows were also kind of normal. Location is relatively good, close to highway and with many places to shop and eat not too far away.

I chose bc it's a new property but I would not stay here again. There is a Towneplace suites next door that I have previously stayed & I will stay there instead. Room 423 - AC sounded like an old engine; shook, was loud, and didn't cool very well. Reported it on check out. 4th Floor - AC out on floor. Reported it daily & was told it was working. Can't imagine what 100 degree days feel like on the 4th floor if it was working. Checkin - Platinum Rewards member didn't care bc I booked thru Expedia. Okey dokey. Checkin - waited more than 5 minutes for a guy to come out of the office. Lobby was empty, no sign at the desk, and the guy comes out with a sweatshirt, no name tag, looked like he just woke up. He didn't make eye contact, just asked 'can I help you'. Breakfast - the coffee was good. I think I've finally learned that a LaQuinta, no matter how new, in a city is not worth staying at. BUT, on road trips, in the middle of nowhere-ish-USA, they are great.
