About this house rental
We have just Tide the Knot on Tybee Island! You can feel like a Newlywed on your beach getaway to this great vacation home, located about 50 yards to the beach on a semi-private Terrace with beach access. This immaculate, custom-built Tybee Island home features 5 bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms and sleeps up to 12 people. Enjoy luxurious details throughout and catch the sunrise over the ocean while sipping coffee from the third-floor balcony.
The main floor of the home is on the 2nd level. Guests are greeted with a foyer with high ceilings and beautiful touches. The living area is framed by an all-brick fireplace and built-in bookcases that house a Flatscreen Tv in the bright and open living room. Step out from the living area to the grand screened porch - with dining for 8, and rocking chairs, and an outdoor sofa for relaxing with a wall-mounted TV for entertainment. Enjoy the Tybee breezes year-round on the screened porch.
The kitchen boasts all stainless steel appliances, with a large pantry, and an under-counter built-in ice maker. The kitchen table has seating for 6. There is a half-bath powder room on this level. All of the bedrooms are upstairs. The large, main Bedroom 1, is furnished with a King size bed, and a TV and has an attached outdoor covered balcony that has a great view of the ocean. The attached ensuite bathroom has dual vanities and a walk-in shower. Bedroom 2 is furnished with a King bed, and a TV, and has a separate sitting area with a sleeper sofa. The bonus sleeping area in the sitting room includes a twin over full bunk to accommodate additional family members. Please note the upper bunk is for small children only. This bonus room is separated from Bedroom 2 with a pocket door. The Jack-N-Jill bathroom connects with Bedroom 3 and has 2 separate vanities and a tub and shower combination. Bedroom 3 is furnished with a Queen bed. Bedroom 4, on this floor also has a Queen size bed.
The ground-level includes a ping-pong table and cornhole boards, a detached laundry room with a full bathroom, a gas grill for guest use, and a hot and cold outdoor shower, perfect for rinsing off after a day at the beach.
Just a short stroll down 11th Terrace is the semi-private beach access boardwalk. Take a long stroll over the dunes to the sand on Tybee's mid-island beach. Stroll the shoreline southward to the Pier to experience the restaurants and shops nearby on the Strand. Parking is available for up to 4 cars in the driveway. High Speed internet Wi-Fi is included.

This home was perfect in every way for our family! Perfect location on the beach and across the street from a market. House is beautiful and screened in patio is a great spot for the family to gather. Home was extremely well appointed with everything you might need ! The owner was very helpful and communication was easy . Would definitely recommend this property! We will be back!

Our family rents a beach house every year on Tybee and this by far has been our favorite home. Very clean and comfortable… the home is very well made also. we were very comfortable and had no issues with noises… perfect spot on Tybee. And provided so many amenities- chairs/ towels/ etc!!! Loved staying!!

For 25 years, I've stayed at all kinds of fun, beach-accessible properties at Tybee and Tide the Knot was, in many ways, the best of the bunch. Thoughtfully furnished, tastefully decorated with a great kitchen and easily the best screened-in porch I've encountered at Tybee. The porch includes a large dining table, numerous chairs, end-tables plus a couch. The porch faces east, which keeps the sunshine away in the afternoon. And it has nice lighting for the evening. The host was great, proactively notifying us about an item we'd neglected to pack at departure. Tide the Knot gets all the stars, plus more. Be advised -- there are stairs. All the BRs are on the third floor (great beds btw). My 87 year old mom handled the stairs fine, and she also loved the place. Highly recommended.

The house was perfect for our family. We spent so much time on the porch and really appreciated the fans. Super close to the beach and a very quiet street (we were the only people the whole time). Many amenities such as a ping pong table, corn hole boards and fun stuff for the beach. Our littles loved the bunk bed.
