About this apartment rental
Welcome to our personally decorated "touch of 1960s" condo in Carlsbad in North County San Diego: on the grounds of the Omni La Costa Resort!
We carefully selected furnishings that combined style with comfort and hope your stay is relaxing. We absolutely love how close our home is to many things in North County San Diego. We have lived in San Diego for many years, and know it well. We are happy to offer additional suggestions for your stay.
There is an air of relaxation that this home offers. The private patio is perfect for summer night dinners, and the interior is comfortable and stylish. The bedroom and living room both offer custom made blackout curtains, with a sheer curtain option for letting the beautiful light in during the day. A King bed is in the main bedroom, and an additional luxury King sleeper sofa in the living room allows for privacy with the pocket doors between rooms.
The shower floor is rock reflexology, and the shower head has a rain shower option. Catch a good movie in the evening on one of the large HD TVs, or pick up a book and cozy up in the reading corner. We love to cook, and have included pans and amenities, including a BBQ set for nights when you want to grill poolside at the shared BBQ area. You can also relax in the chaise lounges or swim in the condo pool.
You’ll have access to our private home condo and the community areas like the BBQ area and downstairs pool.
Our home is located on the Omni La Costa Resort premises. This property is not part of Omni’s resort, and does not give you access to any resort privileges or amenities.
Simply remember that you’ll need to reach out to the Resort directly if you’d like to gain additional access to their pool areas, gym, cabana rentals, tennis (including lessons) and golf courses (resort pass. com). We can recommend several other great golf spots in the area. You’ll be booking directly with the Omni La Costa Resort Spa if you'd like to enjoy the Spa’s pool, sauna, steam room and hot tubs, and additionally for massages, facials and more.
There are many other Resort public amenities that you can enjoy, including making reservations at their restaurants and perusing their shops in the main plaza.
IMPORTANT: No pets or smoking/vaping allowed. The Carlsbad City Council adopted a new city law (City Ordinance No. CS-475) on Aug. 20, 2024, prohibiting smoking in all multiunit residences in Carlsbad. Carlsbad is the first city in San Diego to adopt this law. As of Jan. 1, 2025, the law applies to all new and existing units governed by a new or renewed lease or other rental agreement, including any associated balcony, porch, deck or patio. Smoking in all common areas or outdoor areas except for specifically designated smoking areas, is also prohibited.

Very nice property with good amenities. Great bed, shower, TV. And host provided a very nice amenities basket.Just be aware that this property is similar to an extended stay hotel room in a three story complex, except of course, much better finish.

Fabulous, spacious 1-bedroom condo in a great location. Hosts were incredibly responsive and have equipped the condo very well -- especially if you have an infant. Comfy bed, plush towels, wonderful rain shower . . . everything you need for a great vacation in Carlsbad! We hope to return soon!

The unit was immaculate and beautifully updated. Bed was very comfortable with soft sheets. The hosts were amazing. We had a problem with the garage remote and they sent us new batteries the same day along with some goodie’s for us. We will definitely choose this unit again!
