Experience resort-style living with all of the comforts of home at Costa Balboa, a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom condo in beautiful Carlsbad, California.
This second floor condo with elevator access features a spacious & sunny floorplan, fully-equipped kitchen and a private balcony overlooking the condo's community pool and the La Costa Resort & Spa grounds. Underground reserved gated parking is serviced by an elevator providing guests step free access from parking to the condo.
Less than 15 minutes from both Carlsbad and Encinitas, guests can spend their days enjoying beaches, dining, shopping and all that San Diego has to offer.
The Living Room:
- Bright and sunny living room, with sliding glass doors leading out to a private balcony.
- Comfortable sofa pulls out to a full size bed.
- Smart tv with access to live tv streaming and Netflix.
- Air-conditioner (wall unit)
The Kitchen:
- Fully-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances
- Refrigerator, electric stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher
- Cookware, glassware, dinnerware and utensils
- Toaster, blender and other cooking gadgets
- Keurig coffee maker with a selection of K-cup pods
The Bedroom:
- Queen bed with memory foam mattress and made up with soft, quality linens
- Nightstands with charging ports.

The Bathroom:
- Full bathroom (en-suite) with shower/tub combo, large vanity, toilet and two spacious closets. Please note: Bathtub walls are high and may be more difficult for some guests to get in and out of. There are hand held grab bars installed to assist with entry and exit into bath tub.
- Half-bathroom with sink, vanity and toilet
- Bathrooms are equipped with plush towels, hand soap, toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, conditioner and hair dryer

- Private balcony with lounge seating and bar-height dining seating
- Community heated pool (heated to 80 degrees between March to November)
- Garage parking: guests will have access to one parking space in a shared, underground garage
- Laundry: there is a communal laundry room in the building with machines you can pay for via credit card.

The resort does not allow free play for non-resort guests, lessons only. To use the resort pools guests need to purchase a resort pass directly with the resort.

We enjoyed the spaciousness and the very well stocked condo. All on the resort was within a short walk, beach was a short drive....great location and great hosts!

The condo was very clean. The master bed was pretty comfortable. The kitchen is pretty small but ok for heating things up in the microwave and getting snacks. There was no creamer packets for the coffee, but plenty of sugar, which we dont use. The view overlooking the pool was nice. We couldnt get the t.v. to work, possibly due to dead remote batteries. A/C worked well in the living room, and if you get the tower fans going, you can get cooler air into the bedrooms for a nice temp! The master shower had issues. I knew about the height of trying to climb into it, before our arrival but didnt realize the width of the tub edge. It was almost impossible to get in and out of. Also, took a cold shower the first night cause navigationg the 4 temp handles was a bit of a learning curve. The condo was near to Legoland, which was our main purpose of going to Carlsbad. So all in all we had a great time with our granddaughters! Thank you!!
