About this apartment rental
Located right next to our large grassy area, this rustic and cozy one level cabin has one queen bed, a pull-out sofa sleeper, full kitchen, washer/dryer combo, and a gas log fireplace. This unit is in walking distance to our clubhouse, fishing pond, and our small playground. Custom made grills are also near by. Pictures may not reflect the exact unit booked, but will be similar. One night's rent + taxes will be charged upon booking. These charges are fully refundable with a 24 hour cancellation, but forfeited in the event of a no call / no show.

• Skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, and tubing at: Appalachian Ski Mountain (only 2 miles away), Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain, Hawksnest Tubing, Jonas Ridge

We enjoyed our short stay over Labor Day weekend. Cabin was for the most part just as described. Was stocked with everything we needed and paper goods were intially provided, which I didn't think would be so we brought some with us. Check out time is 10am which is a little early but we were out by 9am anyways to get to the river to go tubing. Would not recommend staying here if the temps get over 80 degrees since there is no A/C (in our particular cabin at least) The mountain breeze does flow thru the rooms nicely but there is only so much a fan can do once temps get warmer outside. Our boys enjoyed the clubhouse gameroom which included table tennis, foosball, board games and tv with cable and a movie selection. Wish we had time to fish, the pond area looked very nice. Wifi was great and easy to connect to. Loved that this place was a few minutes from downtown Blowing Rock and not far from Boone either. These cabins are priced very reasonably compared to some of the places in those towns. Only suggestion when booking is to get one of the suites upstairs in the 4 room cabins. We were downstairs and the guests staying above us had a child that ran laps for over 3 hours in their room - very thin walls in these cabins! Aside from that issue we will book again when staying in this area.
